The BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Cordless Hand Vacuum has been a big help around my home and car. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the battery lasts long enough to clean furniture and small messes without constantly recharging. The suction is strong for a handheld, and it does a great job pulling up pet hair from couches, stairs, and car seats. The included tools are useful — the upholstery tool works well on furniture, and the crevice tool makes it easy to reach tight spots. The dirt bin empties quickly without making a mess, which is a nice touch. Overall, this is a reliable and convenient handheld vacuum that makes cleaning up after pets much easier. The only issue I have is where the power button is. Many times while using the handheld, my thumb will turn it off while changing positions. Read more

I have an Australian shepherd that sheds like crazy!! This helps combat all the hair on the couch and floor. Also great for in my car because all of the different attachments. It does take awhile to charge and power fully but it’s perfect for a quick daily cleaning. It’s not as loud as a normal vacuum, I’d say it’s about a medium volume level. I’ve had this hand held vacuum for a year now and it still runs perfectly! Read more

It's been decades since I've had a hand vacuum (my last was a Dustbuster in the early days of hand vacuums). I was cautiously optimistic that this one would be a significant improvement and do a good enough job that I could stop lugging my regular vacuum cleaner outside to clean the car. My goodness! This thing is fabulous. It did a way better job than my vacuum (which has a motorize bristle head for pet hair, as does this Bissell). I track a lot dirt and tiny pebbles, along with horse hair, into my car from the horse barn. This vacuum picked everything up in one swipe and I was done much more quickly than with my regular vacuum. It helps that the bristle head is narrower and thus can more easily navigate curves on the car's floor. But it's also a surprisingly powerful vacuum. The attachment for reaching into narrow spaces also worked fine. My hands aren't especially strong and I found the weight of this vacuum comfortable. Inside the house, the dusting attachment proved to be a dream. Very effective, and quicker than spraying and wiping. It's especially handy for dusting flat surfaces that you can't spray, like table runners and place mats. This is one of the best purchases I've made in recent years. Read more

I bought this Bissell and the Black & Decker Furbuster, looking for a portable vac for my camper. I am keeping both because they both have features. This one had an attachment that allowes for more space to be vacuumed, it does a decent job of pulling up dog hair, charged pretty quickly, I've gone over a pet bed, couple of throw rugs and a day bed sheet, battery is still showing full charge. The noise level was not enough to disturb my dog, the rotating brush head did good job picking up the hair (it is a brush)... its easy to empty and wash the filter. See my review of the Black & Decker Fur Buster: That vac has a rubber brush which picked up much more hair going over the area. I'm using this in the camper (no carpet) just floor to vac as it has great suction. Read more

Great little helper! Attachments are perfect sizes for cleaning, great power and suction, holds large amount of debris, charges quickly! It is a little heavy for me, but I also love the on/off button. You just press the button on once and vacuum away! No having to hold a button down the entire time you are using it Read more

This vacuum has been a life saver for me. My cats and dog shed some much and our furniture gets covered in pet fur and it gets imbedded in the fabric. I use the pet hair eraser attachment, and it does a really good job of picking 95% of the hair within about 2-5 passthroughs (depends on how deeply imbedded the fur is). It's really great for spot cleaning as well. I like to cut my own hair, and it picks up all of my hair on the ground very well (don't use the pet eraser attachment for this because your hair might clog it up). The pet eraser attachment is easy to take apart and clean if it does get clogged up. I also use it to pick up litter around my cats' litter box. It's been easy to maintain the litter box space with this because all I have to do is grab it and turn it on. I really like not having to pull out my full-size corded vacuum every day to clean the litter around the box. I struggle a lot with executive functioning due to cognitive and mental health issues, so consistently maintaining a clean home can be difficult, but having this vacuum makes it so much easier. I find that it works really well on rugs too. I have a lower pile rug and a shag rug. It's great for the lower pile rug but struggles with the shag rug. Arguably though, my full-sized vacuum also struggles with shag rug. So, it's great for rugs that are low-medium pile, but I wouldn't use it on a high pile or shag rug. I've been able to get the best results with the shag rug using the wand attachment, but it's still not great. For most things, I use the pet eraser attachment because I find it to be the most effective. You can also get to a lot of different spaces with this vacuum by utilizing the various attachments. I am so particular about vacuums especially ones that claim to be great at picking up pet hair and so far, this is the only vacuum that consistently stays true to that claim. Again, I've had this for over 2 years, and it still works as well as the first day I got it. I find the battery life to be good. I usually keep it plugged in if I'm not using it, so it doesn't die on me while in use. Because I do that, I never have any issues with the battery life. Again, I use it for spot cleaning in my 1700 sqft apartment and I'm able to clean all the spaces I want to clean without it dying or getting low. It picks up pet hair, litter, and kibble really well. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs something to do some spot cleaning. Especially if you have pets or struggle with day-to-day tasks. Read more
