I have finally found it. This is the phone mount I have been looking for! After trying numerous phone mounts for my truck, this one checks all the boxes, except maybe one (minor) one, which was easily fixed. First, this mount comes very nicely packaged. The materials used are some metal but mostly plastic material. However this is not a drawback as it’s all high quality and definitely “heavy duty” when compared to other mounts I have tried. The mounting suction-cup is wide, has a no-residue and washable adhesive that helps ensure it will not fall off, which I can guarantee if you apply this correctly, it’s not going ANYWHERE. It’s super adjustable, and it extends out very far, which is what I needed since the mount has to site somewhat far back on my dash, with others my phone was too far away, with this I can pull it right up to my face. The whole things makes the mount very easy to adjust and it works very well. The only downside is it did not include a MagSafe mounting end, which is a must have for me personally. However, this was easily remedied as I had a couple other MagSafe end from other mounts and I was easily able to connect it as most mounts use the same “ball & socket” system. I will say, the clamping mount that comes with it seems very robust, and I have no doubt it would work well for those who do not have MagSafe. This is great value for the money given its quality and the immense reach and adjustability. I ordered this Heavy Duty Phone Mount by Bracketron to suction to the window to record videos out the window. I ordered the heavy duty suction cup mount when the smaller ones wouldn’t hold a heavy Samsung Galaxy. This phone mount is LARGE, it is definitely for a large vehicle. I knew this would be Heavy Duty but I wasn’t expecting it to be so big. This is perfect for a big truck or an RV. I am attaching it on a train window for a ride across a country so it will be in a big vehicle. The adhesive works surprisingly well and my Samsung Galaxy stays in place. So far I’m impressed with the quality of this heavy duty phone holder and I thought the price was reasonable for this mighty phone mount. Read more

Apply on a clean surface [dashboard or window] however the manufacturer highly recommends using glass for a more secure attachment and for larger phones such as an iPhone. The manufacturer suggests attaching the arm and base and then letting set for a minimum of 24 hours prior to attaching your device. I really like this phone mount!! It is super easy to use and it took me less than 3 minutes to figure out how to put it together, adjust it and put my phone in it. The arm is about 8” long as is and when you fully extend it, it extends to 12” so you have plenty of options as far as how much you need it to extend out. The part that holds the phone tightens onto the ball at the end of the arm and can rotate around, so you can move your phone around pretty easily. There is a button that opens the part that the phone sits in both horizontally and vertically so it allows for different sized phones. I have an iPhone 12 with a case on it and this phone mount held it very securely. I even shook it around to see how securely it was holding my phone and it didn’t go anywhere. Everything on this phone mount is easy to adjust and is very secure. Moving your phone in this holder is so smooth and easy and adjustments can be made quickly. I like that you can mount it to the dashboard or the windshield. This functions exactly how it should and is definitely worth the price.
