It’s not a perfect remedy, but it’s certainly the best of several braces I’ve tried

Having broken a wrist as a child, I’ve lately been trying this Bullseye Brace to help stabilize it and reduce tendon/joint discomfort during exercise, martial arts training, or when lifting heavy objects. Some folks seem to have their old wrist injuries practically disappear when wearing this brace. Such is not the case for me—but it does significantly reinforce the weakness of that wrist and somewhat reduce the tendon pain in the limb, while the hands and wrist joint maintains an ideal flexibility and functionality. Most other braces for the wrist severely limit the range of movement while also not providing as many (or any) of the benefits of this one. It is a bit expensive compared to other braces, and honestly seems like it could be cheaper, but addresses a specific niche of wrist injuries (old, fixed injuries which have left behind some frustrating issues of functionality—as opposed to new, less severe/permanent injuries like sprains and tendonitis, which require different wrist devices for different accommodation). To pay 1.5x, 2x or 3x the price of generic braces manufactured in larger quantities, which are designed for treatments of less severe or permanent wrist issues, would feel more reasonable if the Bullet brace were more refined in design or more durable. I wish it were a bit lower in price so customers who need it could easily buy two or three, perhaps using one daily for work (especially if work involves regular physical labor), and one to keep on hand for exercise, sports, traveling, etc. It would be nice to try different sizes without being frustrated by the cost if one fits poorly. This is a very helpful and welcome product and design and hopefully it becomes more widely accessible and available in the future. Update: 4.5 just because as others have said, it seems to take some sports tape on the inside to keep it from slipping down the forearm slightly. Not a huge deal, but it makes the price feel silly. It’s effective, though. Read more

Does what it says it does!

This brace is so comfortable and helps tremendously with wrist pain! Even wear it at night and it keeps my wrist stable. Only wore it for a couple of days before the strap shredded apart (size L/XL). Contacted the seller and they responded the next day! Asked for a few photos of the issue, and sent a replacement right out. A couple of mail days later, and my wrist is happy again. Despite the initial QC problem, very happy with my purchase and with the seller. Great customer service! Read more

Wish they were made better

I have ordered this now 4x. The 1st one lasted 3 weeks and I exchanged it for a new one. I got that one it lasted a week. Returned that and the next 2 I have bought have lasted a day. I’m so mad I can’t get my $$ back for the last one bc my son threw the strap in the trash at gym because he was over them breaking. My son says the brace works wonderful before they break. The brace in picture was used not even a whole day Read more

Not that great, uncomfortable

My PT recommended this because i had wrist tendons that weren't healing. Honestly, after a couple of days I couldn't ever use it again. The circle thing goes around your wristbone, but it's too small to actually go around your wristbone. It just digs in. The rest of it is weirdly thick but doesn't provide any support or anything-- it just gets in the way. The velcro closure is in the way ALL the time. And on top of that, just wearing it made things hurt more, not less. It made me less able to do things, too. I hope it works for someone, if professionals are recommending this specific product by brand, but, wow, no way. I wish I could return it because it's just another piece of junk around the house now. Very Effective for Stability & Pain Relief

I have a TFCC small tear ame ecu tendinitis 6 months now. I was splinted and did 2 month of PT. At one point I could’t hold my cell phone or drive or do dishes. TFCC issues take a long time to heal and you may need to wear wrist supports for life and only do pikes and push ups on knuckles or w a grip assist. Small thing to give up in exchange for day to day functionality. I have used a variety of wrist wraps through out my injury. At first I used wrist wraps but I had odd sharp pains when I put weight on my wrists or supinate them with weights. Also, the wraps seems to hurt my ulna bone. Then I tried the wrist widget which I love but I didn’t get better so I went to the doc and pt. They said at this stage you need max tfcc support & prescribed a plastic ulna gutter splint then I progressed to the ulna booster. I wore the splint 24/7 for 3 weeks then switched to the ulna booster and a night brace, but after several months this was causing stiffness in the thumb area. Lately I was wearing the wrist widget when exercising but while it stabilizes the tfcc it also irritates the ecu tendon. I was having pain along my pinkie and into the hand until I put thus on instant relief. For anyone who has had this it is painful. I worked out and not only did it feel stable ( no clicking) no pain and increased strength and ROM. Before putting this on I couldn’t put weight on my hands w flexion but I could with this strap ( still had to be careful no burpees or anything). The genius is the space for the head of the ulna bc most wraps compress this are which increases pain, inflammation, and compressed the tfcc space when it needs to be opened up which the strap does. Then it pulls the 2 bones of the wrist together. It is also a little more comfortable than the widget bc it is made of neoprene and the hole for the ulna bone is a soft gel. Read more
