This is my third and most expensive tripod. I use it for hunting with a nice innorel ball mount that wasn't part of the mount+tripod package offered here. You'll want a beefier mount than that for hunting i think. The tripod is strong enough to mount a heavy rifle onto without sag or other problems. The tripod is very light, which is very nice for hoofing it out in the wilderness a long ways. If I had to give a criticism, the leg angle locking mechanism that lets you lock how far apart the legs spread is the weak point. Just looking at the mechanism, It's sometimes not obvious your legs aren't completely locked, which could be a potential problem. You'll want to push down on the center of the tripod pretty hard to make sure you locked the legs right. But that's not enough to remove a star. I'm very happy with this tripod. The 90-ish dollar ball mount is also ideal for shooting so if you're getting this tripod for that purpose, get the separate ball mount, you won't regret it Read more

I love it. Appears well made and sturdy. Plenty of options. Has rubber feet & spiked feet. Also a nice travel bag to transport it & a few other accessories. Very nice ! I purchased it for my Seastar S50. Perfect tripod mount for this scope! I will include picture of Seastar S50 atop Innorel carbon fiber tripod. Read more

Tired of hauling around my old, heavy aluminum Manfrotto photo tripod, I explored alternatives to the expensive carbon fiber tripods marketed to hunters/shooters and I found this beauty. It is rated to carry the weight of the shooting-specific tripods costing 2-3x as much. I mounted an older Manfrotto ball head with an Arca-Swiss convertor that securely holds my rifles with M-Lok Arca rail mounts. For other rifles, my BOG Arca-Swiss clamp works great -- quick on and off. The legs are more than long enough to adjust for my 6'1" height. While the leg twist clamps are a little slower than the Manfrotto lever clamps, for my use I only have to do it once. The first use out in the field was proof of concept. It was light(er), sturdy and kept the rifles steady in 15-20 mph winds. I even mounted my heavy spotting scope, and it was very steady. This was a good buy. Read more

I bought this used and one leg segment had an issue. Customer service promptly sent a replacement. I’m using this for a small refractor telescope and it works great. It folds down small and is very light. I do add weight on the hook for stability… otherwise the tripod is too top heavy and tippy. This is no complaint on the tripod as this is matter of physics. The tripod itself has no problem with the ~25 lbs total weight and vibrations settle quickly. Read more

I have been researching for a while for the best bang for my buck when it comes to a long term tripod and I believe I finally have found the one, and the best part? Carbon Fiber! Starting with the structure - I was looking for a solid tripod with a strong base to be able to mount a gimbal onto it. Almost everywhere I look, no one seems to mention attaching one. When receiving the product, after trying other brands out - I decided to throw in a few bucks extra to try out the INNOREL tripod and boy could I tell the difference in terms of sturdiness when this one arrived. I was looking into a bowl tripod at first because of the diameter to fit the base of my gimbal, but turns out DJI went with a 1/4' vs a 3/8 which is what this product is. BUT - with the extended center pole - you could swap the end out and flip the 3/8 to 1/4, and use that end for camera/tripod, and the 3/8 thread end on the actual base of the tripod. The height of the tripod is outstanding - and reached me at eye level, if not, higher with my gimbal, and I am at 6'0 feeet. The N44 head that comes with it is phenomenal - strong, adjustable, and a solid grip to hold whatever is attached in place. As I mentioned earlier, I was looking for a tripod that could hold my gimbal which means half the time I will be removing the N44, and well, thanks to INNOREL - we can SAFELY store that in a bag for the tripod head, to securely store it without risk of damage. All in all, I am very satisfied with this tripod and can't wait to put it to a lot of use and get the most out of it. Best of all - an 8 year warranty which the brand stands by. (Just make sure to store it somewhere and NOT lose it as you need it for any warranty claims!) Best bang for your buck when it comes to a carbon fiber tripod, don't hesitate if you're looking for the one, 10/10! Read more

I initially bought this to use as a travel tripod for the 2023 Annular & 2024 Total Eclipses - mated with the Oregon AZ Baby mount head - to attach a white light solar filter fitted on a Celestron C90 spotting scope. However, after purchasing a Seestar S50 this has been the tripod that I use for every Seestar session. Lightweight yet very stable and exponentially better than the 'mini' tripod that is packaged with the Seestar. In fact, I'll likely purchase a second KT324C tripod to mount the new Seestar S30 so I can conduct dual simultaneous imaging sessions with both Seestars. Read more
