I took a chance on going cheaper with Casabrews vs the competitor and am very happy I did! From the ease of use to the ease of cleaning I am overall very satisfied. It’s very simple to operate. I wanted a machine that can do hot water only and it works great. The steam wand is pretty decent for the price point. The top of the machines gets warm to heat up your cups. I typically let it warm up for 5-10 min, as that is just what I’ve set my routine to, it doesn’t take nearly that long. I like the smaller footprint; it doesn’t take up too much space. I prefer to have a separate grinder, which I’m still needing to upgrade, but even with the cheap grinder I’m pulling pretty good shots. I did purchase a bottomless Portafilter and I enjoy using that one, but I am pleasantly impressed with the dual spout that comes with the machine. The tamper is just a cheap plastic tool that needs to be upgraded to get a nice calibrated tamp, but certainly is functional enough to get started. This machine comes with several baskets to fit your needs which is great! It holds ample water to pull many shots before needing to be refilled. If you’re looking for a machine to get you started or even someone that is well versed in the espresso world, this is a winner. The manual that comes with the machine is very easy follow to make any adjustments. I would purchase this machine again! I've only been using it for a week but it's been working well so far. Small enough to fit in an average sized kitchen but large enough to make a good professional cup of espresso. It's easy to use once you get the hang of it and I like that it has an option to put out hot water. It looks very sleek and professional. It makes a good tasting espresso FAST, at least for my American tastebuds. So far, all of the components have been easy to clean as long as you properly maintain everything. Read more

Shocking how good this machine is for the money. My last espresso machine was a Professional Kitchen Aid and cost $2000.00. It was very complicated and not worth the money. This machine was an upgrade from a cheap random espresso machine and I just thought I was making decent espresso at home... this machine has pushed me into coffee snob territory (as much as you can be in there whilst being poor). Absolutely fantastic shots out of this thing and it's 100% the easiest thing to use outside of a fully automated deal! Great espresso machine! As a former barista, this machine makes wonderful lattes and is really fun to work with. The steam wand is pretty powerful for a machine in this price range, and cleaning this espresso maker is very simple. I have limited counter space, but it’s not so big that I’m fighting for space. It has a great weight to it. Not too heavy but heavy enough that it doesn’t slide all over the place. There is no grinder, but for me this is not an issue since I have a separate grinder, but keep this in mind that there is not one with this product. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the only equipment it comes with is the portafilter. There are no espresso shot glasses to catch the espresso, nor a steaming pitcher to froth milk in. All in all, so far is a very impressive espresso machine for the price. Not too flashy so great for starters to learn on! Just remember, there are no additional accessories, so those will need to be purchased separately. Read more

This machine is easy to use and works very well. I will have to say I wish the temperature of the espresso making process could go a little higher. I feel like the max isn’t quite hot enough, but I like my espresso to be burning hot before I add the steamed almond milk. All in all very happy with my purchase. Read more

This espresso machine is perfect. Do not be an idiot, and buy a Breville with the little built in grinder. Buy this Ultra and the Tornado grinder or Shardor 64, for half the price! I owned the number one coffee shop in my region for a decade, and this little Ultra is an __extreme__ value for the money, and perfect for your home. I have been using it for months now, 4-10 lattes a day (for our business clients), and it is flawlessly fantastic. My only complaint? So far so good! Coffee is great using the double shot portafilter. I still have to start working on dialing in my shots since I don’t have a grinder yet. Steam wand is a little weak but you can manage to get it to good consistency. Overall works great. Looks great in the counter. Read more
