Turns out sort of dull green when 175°F water is poured in, which is supposed to be the ideal water temperature for matcha tea. Anyway, the matcha tastes okay, but it still tastes bitter. This is in no way the same quality as ceremonial grade, but it is suitable for baking and cooking purposes. You can also use it for matcha lattes, as the nuance of high-grade tea would be lost to the addition of sugar and milk anyway.
