This pillow far exceeded what I expected or hope that it could do. I ordered this pillow because I have such bad neck and shoulder pain and wake up with a headache every morning. After using this pillow only once I woke up with no headache and have not had one since I started using it. They say it may take some getting used to because of its ergonomic design, I did not find this a problem at all. The first night my head and neck were and shoulders were so relieved I can't even describe it. It gives wonderful support but is soft enough to be comfortable and does not feel hard. I made sure that I allowed the pillow to sit for 24+ hours before first use. I was slightly worried that it would be a hot pillow being that it is memory foam, so happy to say that it was not hot in the least. I have tried so many pillows because of my issues and this is the only one that has given me any relief. In fact I am so happy with the pillow I ordered and received a second one already. I don't ever want a chance of not having this pillow to use. I noticed one review mentioned and odor with the pillow during first uses but there was no odor with my pillow. This pillow has honestly given me the most comfort I have had in years! I can't say it removed 100% of the pain but it did remove so much of it that I can rest comfortably and sleep for a change. I've purchased several other ergo pillows from different brands, but this one has the best shape to give be the neck support I need for side sleeping. It is soft, memory foam, and the center of the pillow cradles your head and allows it to sink in, while the shape provides support to your shoulders and neck. I've been using it for a week now and have not experienced any numbness in my arms or pain in my neck when I wake up. It's best to not add any pillow cases as this takes away the cooling function and makes the pillow hot after a while.
