First off, let me say that I leave reviews but only when a product is REALLY GOOD or bad. Also, I have recommended this pillow to 3 other people who now swear by it, along with me. I used to sleep on flat, ugly looking pillows thinking that’s what I liked because I never liked to sleep on those tall memory foam pillows or anything like that. I came across this pillow on a Reddit post and figured I would try it since it is adjustable with height. I really thought I like flat pillows, but little did I know I just never had a reliable supportive headrest that gave me good sleep every night. This pillow is so versatile! Tall, short, medium height, whatever you want you can get with this pillow. The 3 different compartments is genius and really allows you to customize to fit your needs. It comes with a separate bag to hold the stuffing which is a nice addition. The smell of the stuffing is distinct so let it air out and wash the case, but it went away after a few weeks to a month. It is very supportive and I feel like It never smashes down… but it is not hard or uncomfortable at all, more encapsulating than anything. I use it as a side-sleeping pillow mostly, I also use it as a body pillow while sleeping on my side because it is big enough to do so and the shape is perfect for it. Basically… there isn’t a sleeping position that is uncomfortable. My head stays cool on this pillow but it isn’t the best at cooling. The pillow case is very cool, washable and soft (picture). Standard pillow cases do not fit very well unless stretched over the whole thing and will uncover 1/4 of it during sleeping but that’s minor (picture). It can also be smashed down into a relatively small size, it could probably go into a small backpack in case you were wondering haha. All the while, maintaining its shape and structure when unpacking. There’s not much more I can say about this pillow other than I wish I invested under $40 for a pillow way sooner! Absolutely worth the money! Read more
I don't generally review a pillow until I've had it for several months, because they're all great at first, and most turn to mush a few month later. This one, though, not only stands the test of time, but came with enough fluff to create a second pillow... and the company even sent a second pillow cover for free when I emailed them, per their card included with the item. First, the parts you will notice immediately: It's a weird shape, and the thing weighs 6 pounds! (A pillow fight could be lethal!) However, I swear by this pillow. The fact that it's adjustable is absolutely the best idea anyone has ever had in regard to pillows! No single pillow can work for everyone, because how thick a pillow you need depends on how hard your bed is.... The harder the bed, the thicker the pillow needed for a side sleeper, and the thinner one you need for a back sleeper. This pillow comes with a drawstring sack so you can remove its shredded foam stuffing to make it just the size you like, while keeping that extra stuffing safe for future use if it does start to break down over time. I took out just a little at a time, but by the time I was done, I'd guess I took out almost a third of it. That means this pillow should last me comfortably for years, since I can add some back in anytime it needs it in the future. I've kept the second pillow cover they sent as well, to replace this one if it should wear out, so that makes this pillow the best value on the market. Meanwhile, the foam they've used is incredible. I can slide my arm under the pillow and back out, and never feel a difference - The pillow just seems to absorb the shape of it and it makes no change to my head position at all. I don't cut off my arm's circulation by laying on it, nor do I get pressure points on my face. The odd shape is strangely ideal, too. I find I lay the pillow vertically, against the front of my body while sleeping, with my head on one of the pointed ends. I have, let's say, pretty big "accoutrements," and the curve of the pillow keeps them from getting pinched or squished as they would from a straight pillow, while my head and neck can remain straight, even with the pillow positioned vertically. I haven't even mentioned that the inside of the pillow is divided into three chambers, so you can adjust the firmness of each section separately. Since I also sleep on my back part of the night, I was able to make the center of the pillow lower and softer by removing more stuffing from that section... It's truly customizable (and recustomizable)! It may sound like I'm being paid to write this, but I'm not -- After decades of hating pillows, I've finally found a pillow I love. I highly recommend it if you also find yourself in a never-ending battle with traditional pillows... Just don't use it in a pillow fight. Read more
The concept of having 3 different chambers in a pillow is a good idea. That way all the stuffing doesn't get squished to one or the other side and it keeps its shape better. The pillow comes with a backpack thing to put your discarded stuffing into. I literally have almost no stuffing in my pillow. It was just too tall for my side-sleeping habits. It physically hurts me to be on my back or stomach, and I have another C shaped pillow but that one is just too tall so I get neck cramps. I wish that the C in this was a bit tighter, so that the pillow itself has a smaller neck and shoulder area. I also hate Hate HATE that I have to buy special pillow protectors for it, because the normal ones for rectangle pillows puff this thing up and it just doesn't fit in them. I've literally tried 5 other pillows and nothing is more comfortable than this shape. Pros: C pillow is best pillow for side sleepers. Adjustable fluffiness. Soft. Cons: Way too much fluff inside the pillow from the get-go. No idea what to do with the stuffing I took out. Normal pillow cases and covers don't fit it because of the shape. It's also longer than a normal pillow. Read more
