I’ve been using this grinder daily at home for a week, and I’m really happy with it. The grind consistency is noticeably better than my old blade grinder, especially for espresso and drip coffee. The 34 grind settings make it easy to dial in exactly what I need depending on how I’m brewing. I also appreciate the anti-static design—grounds don’t fly everywhere, which makes cleanup much easier. It’s simple to operate, not too loud, and the stainless steel finish looks great on my counter. Overall, it feels well-built and delivers reliable results for everyday coffee brewing. Read more

I am exceptionally pleased with the ability of this bean grinder to produce various types of grind specific to brewing preference. So far, I have tried “pour over” and “drip” grind consistencies and am thoroughly impressed with the evenly ground beans. It seems to have a lot of power, and gets the job done rather quickly. Regarding its overall shape and dimensions, I think there are pros and cons. The positive aspect is that it has a very small footprint - VERY IMPORTANT for small spaces. It is tall though, so it will remain on my counter top because it is too tall to place in my cupboard. For my needs, I am fine with this because I intend to use it daily. I am a bit concerned about the thin plastic. Specifically, the coffee bean holder on the top. Based upon my observations, I will be careful not to ever drop this because I think it would crack and break. Overall, it’s function is impressive. As far as kitchen gadgets go, I think this is attractive as well. I cannot say it is a good value based on its cost and likelihood of thin plastic breakage. Read more

I love this LumosBari Conical Burr Coffee Grinder and here's why! 1. No Assembly - Arrives pretty much assembled 2. Great Quality Stainless Steel exterior - this grinder has a beautiful presentation with the stainless steel that is beveled and with rounded corners. Easy to clean and durable. 3. The coffee bean hopper is clear so I can see how much remains. It holds a LOT too - an entire bag of beans! That makes it easier to use. It is removable for cleaning too! 4. Compact at 14.25" x 5.2" x 7.24" - fits on my counter easily! 5. Premium grinding parts - commercial grade 450 RPM, low heat grinding, stainless steel burrs for durability and premium quality - result in better tasting grinds!!! 6. Anti Static System - THIS IS KEY! It really is bothersome to grind your beans fresh in the morning, only to have 1/2 of your grounds get stuck everywhere so it is unusable due to static cling!!! With this grinder the grinds do not have that mega static cling! Awesome!!! Great value - I can get to use ALL of my beans! 7. 34 different grind settings depending on the type of coffee you are making from French press, Pour Over, Drip, Mocca, Espresso and Turkish. Fantastic range of grind choices and true to the grind! 8. It holds either a 51mm or 58mm portafilter handle up to a 60mm portafilter. it comes with a dosing cup or you can use your own portafilter. A great value! I have another grinder from a well known brand and this one is by far better. The best features is no static, a stainless steel burr, stainless steel body that is easy to clean, easy to read and use digital screen and it is easy to control and dial in what you want to get as a grind result. I'm very happy! Highly recommend! Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty decent home model. I'm used to professional Mahlkonig grinders, so this feels somewhat flimsy, but since it's not for commercial use I am sure it will hold up fine with thoughtful handling. So far I have only used it for drip coffee. I've included photos comparing the grounds size for drip from this LumosBari grinder next to pre-ground coffee and it is about the same. I like that you can adjust between settings to your preference. Note: this grinder does NOT come with the portafilter shown in the photos. It only comes with the little cup. If you want to grind larger amounts (like for a whole pot of coffee), you'll have to find a bigger container to catch the grounds, or dump the cup several times. The cup only holds enough for a couple of cups of coffee. The true test will be finer grind settings for my Moka pot. I don't have an espresso machine so unfortunately I can't test for that. I wish the screen had real buttons. I always hate touch screens. Also would be amazing if these came with scales so you could set the weight instead of setting the grinding time. But, even commercial grinders don't always have scales attached. Using time to measure output has always baffled me, but it seems to be standard in grinders. It is pretty loud. As grinders tend to be. But the plastic is a bit thin so it doesn't muffle the noise at all. Easy enough to use once you know what the different settings are. Read more
