I am very pleased with the weight, the size [it's larger than expected], the appearance, and the durability. And because it's cast-iron it takes a little bit longer to warm up, but not much. And in the ad it didn't say it was nonstick, but no problem. I just butter the cold pan, add coconut oil and cook on heat setting #3. I used to cook on setting #4 but because this retains so much heat I can now use setting #3. After cooking I set it aside and allow it to cool thoroughly before washing by hand. There will be stuck on food but I just scrape it off with the plastic spatula. I "do not" place it in the dishwasher because it will rust. Overall I am very placed. Read more

Okay, to be fair, I've only had this pan for a day and I've cooked one thing in it. But, that one thing was scrambled eggs, and this pan did perfectly! Right out of the box, I washed the pan with warm water and a little dish soap. I dried it immediately, as per the directions. This morning, I gave it its first test with my eggs. I heated the pan for a few minutes with some butter (you shouldn't heat enameled cast iron pans empty), then I added my eggs. They were done cooking within 3 or 4 minutes and were just right. They tasted even better than eggs cooked in my old ceramic pan. If all you're interested in is how the pan cooks, you can probably stop here. However, if you're interested in more, here goes. The color of my pan is beautiful. Just like it's pictured. The enamel coating, inside and out is in perfect shape with no dings. It's a good heavy weight, which I love. The size will be perfect for eggs (the main reason I bought this) or other smaller jobs. We've got a big family, but this could easily cook a meal for 2 to 3 people, I would think. I chose this mainly because I recently decided to move away from ceramic nonstick pans after discovering they aren't as safe as I'd thought. Cast iron and enameled cast iron are my favorites, anyway. Given the higher cost of these materials, I wanted to choose my pieces carefully, purchasing only those I know I'll use often. These pans last forever if properly cared for, so the investment is important. If you're still here, awesome! I highly recommend this pan. At it's price (around $33 when I got it), you really can't beat the quality. Read more

Beware when unpacking. The first one came with shattered enamel and I got cut by it. The return went perfectly though and the new one is exactly what we were looking for. We recently discovered how easy it is to make dutch babies/german pancakes and read that an enameled cast iron ten inch pan was the way to go. Chefs kiss. It works beautifully. The color is also a nice bonus. So pretty! Read more

Love this pan. Needed to get use to it not being non-stick. Read more
I hate this thing, everything sticks to it! Ive tried different oils, different heat settings and literally everything sticks and leaves a messy pan to clean up. Read more
This pan is great! It's very easy to clean and cook's food perfectly. It's a bit on the heavy side but that's to be expected because it's cast iron. I wouldn't consider it non-stick but I've been using nonstick spray so that helps. Read more
Excellent frying pan. much healthier. I did have to adjust from non-stick pot as it takes longer to heat up (& cool off) so it was an adjustment after cooking for years. Good price for healthier cookware that does a beautiful job once you get used to cooking with it. Read more
