I love the knives and this holder gives your counter space an attractive look. The reason I had to buy it again is because l got this about 4yrs ago and the handles began to break from the blade. I figure was because we put the knives in the dishwasher so lets hope it works as we will only hand was them and lesson learned. Read more

I spent much time looking for a knife set that met all my basic culinary needs but didn't have anything I didn't want (I already own a set of steak knives for example) and had EXCELLENT aesthetic appeal. All the standard block sets were the same but as soon as I saw this set I was hooked! The Cuisinart name absolutely helped sell me on this set and I can say that this is a wonderful knife set which has exceeded my expectations. The knives are super sharp and retain their edge very well even with frequent use. The minimalist design is great for my counter and I have to say that the "suspended" design has turned more than a few heads. Very Satisfied, would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Read more

Looks exactly like the picture. Good knife in most aspects, striking appearance, workable length, the balance is uncanny valley though as if someone tried to balance it by sight instead of by feel. A slicer, not a cutter. Mind the tip! Feels more like an elongated paring knife as opposed to a chef's knife hybrid. The grip is soft for a kitchen knife and doesn't interfere with use but those who prefer silicone may find the padding lacking. For the price, my take is you get a little more out of it than you pay for it, so I'll recommend. While it lasts, anyways, as it seems these have been discontinued. Read more

This knife is an amazing addition to my collection of knives… It’s actually one of my favorite ones that I use most. It has a great handle easy to use. Because of the nice design, you can use it in multiple applications by cutting cheese or sautéing a fish. I couldn’t ask for more. Read more
