Perfect size for 23 lb turkey
Great pan, seems sturdy and it’s not very heavy. Cleans up well. I cooked a 23 lb turkey in it and it fit nicely. I wouldn’t go any bigger than that though. Read more

I recently purchased the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Stainless 16-Inch Rectangular Roaster with Rack, and it has quickly become an essential part of my kitchen arsenal! This roaster is a fantastic investment for anyone who loves to cook. The stainless steel construction is exceptional. It’s made from high-performance stainless steel that not only looks sleek but also ensures even heat distribution. This means my roasts come out perfectly cooked every time, with no hot spots. One of the standout features is the sturdy rack. The rack is designed to elevate the meat, allowing fat to drain off and ensuring healthier cooking. The handles on the rack make it easy to lift and remove the roast without any hassle. Cleaning up is a breeze since the entire roaster is dishwasher safe. This is a huge plus for me, as it saves time and effort after a big meal. The size is perfect for large family gatherings or holiday meals. It easily accommodates a big turkey or a large roast with plenty of room for vegetables around the sides. The riveted stainless steel handles are sturdy and provide a secure grip, making it easy to transfer the roaster in and out of the oven. Overall, the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Stainless 16-Inch Rectangular Roaster with Rack has exceeded my expectations. It’s durable, easy to clean, and performs beautifully. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality roaster. Read more

I have been using this same pan now for seven years and it still looks like new. Super sturdy and I have never had a problem with it. I really love this roasting pan. Read more
Love the roaster, cooked my Christmas Prime Rib in it and cleans up wonderful in the dishwasher. Will last many years to come. Read more
I roasted a delicious turkey in it. Cleaned it without any issues. Everything tasted as it should. Does not seem to have any coating on it. Stainless steel surfaces, which I prefer to nonstick or enamel. Comes with a rack to hold the bird, but I don’t use those, as I find they dry out the bird. (Free tip folks. When the bird hovers aloft leaking its own juice for hours, the meat gets dry.) No lid. I used aluminum foil. That absence made me miss my old oval lidded roasting pan. C’est la vie! When my inherited 80 year old roaster finally failed, I bought what looked like an Enamel Roasting Pan at HOME GOODS for our Thanksgiving eve turkey. Unfortunately, the “enamel” finish on that pan was fake—it was just paint. Paint that melted into the drippings that I use for gravy. The gravy—usually a highlight for my kids—was inedible, horrible, bitter. I only saw, when cleaning the pan, all the blank places where the finish had melted off. That’s the kind of junk you have to watch out for. It only looked like enamel. The surfaces of this stainless steel Cuisinart roasting pan will not melt. It does not seem to be treated with any coating. Personally, I prefer stainless steel to both nonstick and enamel, and certainly prefer it to fake enamel. You have to be careful what gets into the food you feed your family. (You care, that’s why you’re reading this. Bless you. Bless all of us who care. It is never-ending watch work.) I took one star off because I would like the steel thicker. I have other stainless steel cookware that is all much thicker than this, but to be fair, they were expensive. Even so, this pan seems on the thin side. Handles are nice and thick tho. For a great price, grab it when it goes on sale a week or so after Thanksgiving. I just missed it. I’d buy this pan again. If possible I prefer to wait a certain amount of time before I rate a product because, to me, this is the true test of how a product preforms over time. That being said, I only use this roaster once a year to roast our Thanksgiving turkey, so after using it now for two years I can attest to this being an outstanding product. For my budget it was pricey, however, after roasting Thanksgiving Day turkeys for over 30 years, I decided it was time to "splurge" and buy a roaster that was backed by a stellar company such as Cuisinart. I am much more than PLEASED with everything about this roaster; I happen to take extremely good care of it because it was expensive and I want it to last. The roaster still shows brand new two years later. The pan easily accommodated a 23-plus pound fresh turkey this year, and the turkey roasted to perfection! (For a second year in a row!) If you are contemplating purchasing this pan, in my opinion, go for it, you will be very GLAD that you did! Read more
The metal seems a little thinner than my other Cuisinart pans, but it still seems sturdy enough for thanksgiving turkeys. Easy to clean. Solid handles and the price was right. I got a coupon that made this a steal. Read more
