I love to cook, when I have the right tools. I have had these knives a couple of months now and I am completely in love with them!!! They are sharp, fit in my hand perfectly, and are absolutely beautiful! I use them everyday. I have seen no sign of rust or have not found any flaws this far. Although, I do take care of them well. Be warned, they are seriously sharp!!! I cut my hand the first day. This was absolutely OPERATOR ERROR. It was not the knives but my carelessness based on using dull knives for so long. There is nothing to not like ab this knife set if their blades design serves your purposes. If you have a 'shabby chic' kitchen, the holder for the knives may not appeal to you, as it is 'modern' in appearance. But the knives are a delight to use, and you will notice they are of a piece, so they are sanitary over time, and very easy to keep clean. Just be super careful when washing!!! They are VERY sharp. The set was amazing and gorgeous. Knives are extremely well made and sharp. Only issue was that 1 of the slots has some shims in in that make it impossible to put the knife in the correct way. Makes it 1 less appealing to the eye and 2 less safe as a small bit of the blade is out. Read more

Definitely the sharpest knives I've ever owned. My husband and I watch "Forged In Fire" and fell in love with damascus. I've searched other brands and these seemed the best value with great reviews. I'm so glad we bought these. They're beautiful and sharp. The only thing I do not like is the shears that come with it. They aren't damascus and they're not very sharp either. Great knives. Thought notable fact about them is that they aren't true stainless steel after washing them by hand once they had a few rust spots along the cutting edge. Nothing sever enough to cause an issue but a notable mention for sure. These knives are great for all your cooking needs they come pre sharpened with a great edge and hold their edge very very well. They are also quite aesetically pleasing and can be "put on display" in the the holder they come with. All around I give it a 98/100. Read more

Purchased this set on Sept. 1 of 2025 and was initially impressed with the weight and extreme sharpness of these knives. The block is well made but you do need plenty of room above it due to its height to get the knives in and out. The knives themselves seem well-made and have a faux "folded steel" pattern printed on the blades, reminiscent of Japanese cutlery. The shears are a bit ungainly and not made to open bags and such but more for cutting chicken and heavier foods. A pair of kitchen scissors would have been a nice addition to this set. However, the small paring knife has developed three small holes along the edge of the blade, with a 4th one starting to develop. These are not nicks from misuse or poor handling, it is clearly a manufacturing defect as they are perfectly round holes. I take extremely good care of my knives; hand-washing and drying immediately, and never left sitting in the sink. I use this particular knife extensively and am very disappointed in a set of this price. Read more
