Dell Latitude E6530 15 6in Notebook Intel Core I7-3520M up to 3 6G DVD 8G RAM 240G SSD

Love the Latitude E6530. I was looking for a robust table with FHD screen resolution 1920x1080. Also, with all possible interfaces: USB, RJ45, HDMI, WR-DVD. This computer has everything! The capacity of the disk was very low (it comes with a LEVEN JS300 SSD 2.5" 320GB) but that's not a problem. I have already replaced with a 1TB SSD disk and works perfectly. To change the disk is the most easy thing in the world. Not other laptop is that easy I think. It has an independent slot so it is very straight forward. The battery included is not that good but guess what, they gave me an extra-battery bigger than the battery included. I haven't tested the new battery yet because the battery included is not that bad. I run a check system and everything was ok. I'm very happy with the product. I needed a laptop for work (while traveling). I had no issues connecting to Wi-Fi. I was able to download everything I need for work (healthcare) and it runs great. It's a little heavy but I carry in a backpack so it's not bad, the battery lasts about 3 hours, which is great, I think! I live that it has 10 key! And it didn't cost me an arm and a leg!!! My husband will be using for school (master's degree) and my kid uses it occasionally when his chromebook won't connect to Wi-Fi. Definitely worth the buy!!! Read more

Before purchasing this laptop I did a lot of research. I was looking for something specific that had to include the following; 1. VGA 2. HDMI 3. DVD-RW drive 4. Webcam 5. Backlit keyboard 6. SSD 7. Decent Processor 8. A good amount of ram The Dell line of Latitude laptops seemed to meet those needs but only on certain models. I called Olive Computers prior to purchasing to confirm the one they were selling had all those features. They did have one and made sure that was the model I received. I recommend calling them prior to purchase if you have specific requirements such as mine. A couple of reasons why I didn't give a 5-star review. 1. The protective lens for the webcam was cloudy. I did contact Olive computers and they replied quickly with a fix. Even though I cleaned the lens from the front, it needed to be cleaned from the back. Thankfully I am somewhat technically inclined but I think almost anyone could have fixed this specific issue. 2. The Laptop works great and arrived in decent condition but you can tell it is used with some minor scuff marks. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and plan to keep this laptop as it offers everything I specifically looked for a fair price. As of this review, I still have not had time to test the DVD-RW drive, HDMI, VGA, USB, and other interfaces. I will update this review if I have any problems with any of those. Read more
