This item is a handheld microneedle rolling tool that is also called a derma roller. It contains 192 titanium micro needles spread over a roller. The handle is designed for easy grasping and there is a textured thumb support under the roller that ensures secure handling. The needles are 0.25mm in length. This is the size that is often suggested for beginning microneedle activity. It is important to note that cleanliness is very important. I disinfect my derm roller before and after use with either alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. I also cleanse the area being addressed using anti-bacterial soap or shampoo. Remember you are putting needles into your skin and want to avoid infection. I don't use a derma roller more than a couple of times a week as your skin needs to recover. This derm roller is well made and I appreciate the quality. It comes in a plastic case where it should reside when not in use. It's important not to damage the needles. The price point is reasonable for a quality microneedle device. Overall, this is a great starter derma roller and some patience is required before results are seen. Read more
I’ve been dermarolling for years, and I normally use a 1.0mm roller on my face. My neck and backs of hands are too sensitive for 0.5mm rollers, so I gave this 0.25mm roller a try in those areas. It works well, and I can tolerate the 0.25mm depth with no problem. We are all different with sensitivity, so it’s good to start at the smallest size and work up if tolerated. I think it’s important to clean the dermaroller before and after use with a little soap, being careful of the fragile tiny needles, and then dip it in rubbing alcohol and rinse off with hot water. I also think it's important to change out rollers regularly because the needles wear down with use, just like toothbrushes. Read more
Great little device to be able to use at home. I was paying to have someone at a day spa do micro needling and when I saw a very well known “face dr.” On YouTube say that everyone should invest in an at home device I immediately knew that I had to have one! This is the perfect (0.25) depth that he recommended. It’s got a case to keep it clean and store it after using it and sanitizing it. It’s so easy and I love the benefits of micro needling on my skin. The price point is amazing! And if you consider what I was paying once a month for it to be done….its a game changer! Highly, Highly, Highly Recommend! Read more
This is easy to use, I am a little afraid of it so I barely applied any pressure. I've never done mircoderma rolling, so didn't know what to expect. It's nice that it comes with a case. Take care to sanitize. Read more
I ordered this for my wife to use. She wasn't a fan of how it felt on her face but she did say that it was well constructed. She also liked the color. Read more
I definitely won't be using this all the time but I can definitely tell the difference when adding this to my skincare routine, it seems to allow the serums and skin care products to penetrate even deeper! Doesn't hurt like I thought it would. Read more
I have had a few different derma rollers, and this is the first one with a plastic roller with metal needles instead of just being all metal. I would definitely prefer the all metal ones, as they are easier to clean and sanitize than plastic, but this isn't a bad roller. The needle depth is just enough to not been uncomfortable for me and it works very well. Would recommend. Read more
