This hoodie is super thick and warm without the heating element. I went out to feed the animals at 10 degrees and just had a tee shirt under and was plenty warm. The hoodie is very well made and comfortable. I have only charged the battery one time and have worn it every day for a week while doing chores. My son loves this hoodie, it keeps him warm and is fairly discreet (unlike a lot of other heated gear the buttons only light up for a second after being pushed and don't stay on the whole time it is heating). The ability to pick what part is heated is great. The fit is good, He is 5'9" and ~120 lbs. the medium fits him well. The hoodie quality seems good. The biggest issue is that there are no heating pads in the arms and for skinny guys with long arms like us our core often stays warm while our arms are cold, so I would like the ability to heat the arms. The large battery has a good life, but it's too bad it uses a proprietary connector instead of USB-C to connect to the hoodie. The price seems about right for this type of gear. Read more

I've become a bit of an afficianado of all things battery heated this year because my child plays soccer and you get to see ALL the weather during the season. This shirt is a good addition to my arsenal but I do have some thoughts good and bad. 1. This is called a hoodie and, unfortunately, the photo is kind of small so you don't immediately see that this is actually a quarter zip. I was not totally thrilled about that configuration because I want the ability to take it off without pulling it over my head. I would have liked this better as a full zip shirt. 2. The battery is on the inside of the shirt and it is really awkward to access once you have the shirt on. It will be difficult to see how much juice you have on the battery as a result. That battery bank also has extra ports you can use to charge other devices. However because of where it is located in the garment, you can't really do both at the same time. Charge your device, or power the garment. Not both together. 3. The hood is heated, but the draw strings are kind of awkward to cinch it in. They stick out funny when engaged. 4. You can turn zones down in temp, but not off entirely. Since I think the hood is kind of a waste of wiring, I would have liked to have additional battery time instead by just having that unheated. 5. This is VERY fluffy. Probably the thickest sweatshirt I've never put on. That isn't necessarily bad. Just be prepared to see yourself with a bit of extra padding when you've got this on. 6. It does warm up nicely and very quickly. I have a jacket that takes quite a bit of time to get going. This is far better. 7. I appreciate that you can cycle through all the zones together by using the center button, but also run each zone separately too. That's a nice feature. 8. I appreciate that this comes with a cap for the battery wire so that when you launder it, it doesn't get that plug wet. Nice touch. 9. This comes with a laundry bag. Not sure how much that will be used but I guess it was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I think this is a nice shirt. Just be aware that you will have to pull this over your head to put it on. Read more
