This portable heater is truly an incredible powerhouse! As someone who lives in an old house built pre-Civil War in 1850, I can attest to its effectiveness. The house still has much of its original design, which means sparse electrical outlets, and the occasional power outage if you run too many things at once. Therefore, I need low wattage, and this house gets drafty in the winter, sending a chill throughout. I run this little big 400/600 watts heater. I bring them out in the winter months to take the chill out of the air. One will heat up an entire medium-size room. I set it at 400 watts, and it works perfectly. I leave it on, letting it quietly run in the background without needing to turn it off. It hasn’t affected our electric bill either, so I can just keep it going. It complements the overall warmth. To operate, on top, you will see a rocker switch that has the Roman numeral I to set at 400w. The middle center is the standby, a small circle ⭕️. Then, on the other side of the rocker switch, you will see the Roman numeral II to set at 600w. On the back of this portable heater is the On/Off switch. It’s my third year using them. I have two. It will heat up most any room, even a larger space within reason. Just set it to 400w, allowing it to run quietly to do its thing, and it will warm the room within minutes, hours, or days. I didn't read the reviews or description of this before buying. It's a compact heater that but I haven't quite figured out all of the functions yet. It heats up quickly, and keeps an area warm. It's quiet and it cuts off when you lift it up. So far one of my major concerns is that the cord warms up while the heater is plugged in. Read more

Yeah, it does have a funny name. Prepare not Dr Pepper. Anyway, when you go to shut it off, it does a countdown from 30 seconds at first. I thought it just wasn’t shutting down. Yeah I guess I should’ve read the instructions. If you tilt it slightly, it turns itself off immediately. For a while, I thought that’s how you turned it off. The heat output is good and so far it’s performing pretty well. My only Minor group is that the temperature it tells you is only on for a few seconds and then goes off. I sort of like when it tells me what the temperature is in the room at the floor level but for the price, I certainly can’t complain too much. It's small but put out some serious heat and has alot of features that other small heaters don't have i like that it stops putting heat out when it reaches desirable temperature it's small can sit on dresser or night stand Read more
