These scales are excellent in several ways. First, they are wider than most bathroom scales, and have a no slip surface which is good for us seniors. Second, weights seem very accurate. Close to the same as my family G.P. scales. Third, really a good price for a highly rated set of scales. Lots of other bells and whistles. Only drawback I have found is to get the accurate reading this scale gives, one must stand very still while if is calibrating and weighing. I am tall, heavy and just a little shakey, so I have to concentrate to be still enough for the scales to do their thing. Really great scale that “weighs” in as a keeper! It has a large bright blue display. It is accurate no matter how your feet are placed. If you are not interested in multiple users weight and Bluetooth this scale weighs in as a winner! It is simply a scale It is made really well and I’m sure will last for many years! Read more

Compared to the scale it replaces, I like that it doesn't slide around on the floor and has a very solid feel when I step on it. The backlit numbers are large and easy to read, and stay on for a while after stepping off. Seems pretty accurate. It gives a new reading every time instead of just repeating the previous reading if the two are close. Read more

This scale is accurate! Recently had my annual Medicare Wellness Checkup and my weight at the Doctor’s was 5 pounds higher than that of my home scale. Asked my doctor if he rigged the scale to weigh more to get me to go on a diet. I claimed the problem was that I was just too short for my weight, we both had a good laugh. This scale matched my weight from the doctor’s visit. We didn’t need a scale that could handle a 500+ pound individual, even if my wife and I both got on it at the same time, we couldn’t max it out. Scale is nice and I love that I do not have to look down while it is weighing me. It beeps when done and I can step off to see my weight. I did not realize it is a high capacity scale but that gives me a nice wide standing area. However, that said the slip with the address to register the scale for the life time warranty is completely wrong. There is no escali.com at all. With the help of google I found the correct site is kitchensupply.com. Go to the bottom of the page for a link to the warranty page. This incorrect information is why I removed one star. Read more

This is a great accurate scale. I love how the display lights up and is workable every time I step on it to activate. Also, I love that it uses regular batteries and not those little circular types! It displays weight and that’s all I really need to know. It’s a little large but, when you step on the base it makes sense: it’s stable with entire foot on it! Seems to be very accurate, nice and wide and easy to stand on, and giant back lit numbers. But, I've had it literally seven days and on my third set of batteries… Something is definitely wrong with this, it's just crazily draining the batteries.Is it a one-off? Is it an engineering flaw? I don't know, batteries last a couple days and then it shows as low and won't work. I'm returning it. Read more
