The media could not be loaded. This mount is awesome! I like the versatility of the sticky mount where you can mount on your dash or another location or via your car vent. I have seen and used other car mount clips where it moves your vent down, but the way this is designed, it stay in there sturdy and does not move your vent! My video looks a little unsteady because I mounted it to a different spot in my car, then remounted it, so it looks a little flimsy, but the first place I mounted, it was STRONG! Don't be deceived! To switch between dash mount or vent clip mount, you simply unscrew, pull apart, then make sure you take the round screw piece to the other mount with you. Easy-peasy! It also comes with a magnet to attach to your phone if your phone/case does not have a magnet. My phone case (otterbox) has the magsafe already in it, so I didn't need the magnet. So I initially got this because of the option to stick it up on my dashboard but once I had it I realized that wasn’t going to work. Part of it is due to my car’s dashboard not having enough flat surfaces to stick down the bottom of the stand. The other part is that the arm on the stand isn’t long enough to allow the phone to be adjusted as needed for being too close to the edge of the dashboard. Even with that, this wasn’t a complete fail. I do appreciate that it has the air vent clip to use. This attachment was extremely easy to install and worked like a charm. I’ve tested it on a couple drives now and my phone has stayed in place the entire time. I now realize that I prefer this option since I can easily remove the mount and it’s as if it was never there. This isn’t possible with the dash mount. This also comes with a metal ring you can stick on your device if that’s needed so that might be a plus for others.
