Nice big size, a little bigger than the others of the same type I have. It's great material, thicker sturdier rubber, where I actually can't even squeeze it flat with both hands! The others I usually get are rough enough I can't flatten with one hand, but can with both - this one is much harder. Which is great because it holds up a heck of a lot longer to the chewing & squeezing; he hasn't broke or chewed any chunks off of it either. The squeaker is insanely loud! Like loud enough it hurts your ears if they squeeze it right there up in your face LOL which I don't necessarily like, but my pup absolutely loves it. Hands down his favorite ball. We just use this as our outside play ball, so he can squeeze & squeak it as much as he wants & it doesn't bother us inside. There is no harsh smell that I noticed, like you sometimes get with the rubber material, also not sticky or anything like that. My Siberian Husky is obsessed with squeakers. Obsessed. When she gets a squeaky toy she squeaks it until there's no squeak left, and she is NOT kind about it. She sinks her teeth in as far as they will go, and toys meet their demise quickly. Previously, this took no longer than five minutes. But this thing still squeaks. She even got sick of squeaking it, although it wasn't before anyone else got sick of her squeaking it. She squeaked, and squeaked, and squeaked... four days went by. Still squeaking. I was going to lose my mind listening to her squeaking this thing. Finally the squeaking subsided as she slowly realized that it wasn't going to stop squeaking no matter how many times she squeaked it. It's been a month now, and the darn thing STILL SQUEAKS. This thing is like an Everlasting Gobstopper for dogs. She has calmed down a little bit, but only because I had to give her a new ball that didn't squeak, as my sanity was circling the drain. Turns out she's just as happy with a rubber bouncy ball that she can chomp down on and toss against the floor and the walls. Here's the thing: If your dog likes to CHEW on balls, like get their back teeth on them, or rip the little spines off with their front teeth, that's totally possible with this ball, and you might end up with a bald ball and a dog that's pooping tiny pieces of rubber. But fortunately I haven't really had that problem with this ball. It's intact, and squeaking like a champ. One thing I will say though is that new TPR rubber starts off feeling really sticky, and these balls are no exception. They feel really sticky at first, and the spines are like a hair brush. They pick up dirt and hair like Nobody's business. Okay, I admit I don't know how business is for Nobody, but if it's anything like the stickiness of new TPR rubber, business for Nobody is BOOMING. However, after awhile the stickiness will get covered up with I don't even want to know what and they don't pick as much junk up off the floor after you just cleaned it and the ball is mocking your cleaning job.
