My chew aggressive mini doodle loved this toy. She spent hours playing with it. However, I did end up having to take it away from her. Though it took her a few days, she eventually did start to unravel the rope and it created hundreds and hundreds of rope shreds around the house, some of which she tried to swallow. For whatever reason, she was not interested in the rubber ball in the middle, even when it became free to from the rope. Though the toy itself was great for occupying her time, the fact that the rope comes undone so easily makes it impossible for me to recommend. I was hesitant to order this for our new 10 week old Siberian husky puppy because our previous Siberian husky was not a big fan of pull rope toys. I ended up order it because our puppy is teething and biting EVERYTHING! She tries to bite clothes, shoes, blankets, our other puppies paws and she's even started chewing the feet of our furniture. So I ordered a few things to see what she would like and to help preserve the things she's been biting lately. This thing is life saving for us and our older pup too. It's kept our puppy captivated and highly entertained. She runs around the house carrying this toy, she plays with it by her self, she's been sleeping with it, she plays with our toddler with it and it keeps her from trying to nip and wake our older pup. I can't stress enough how much our little pup LOVES this toy! It's a good chew toy that keeps my pup engaged and entertain until she passes out! The little rubber balls a nice touch as it's good for her teeth and gums. The rope feels really sturdy and durable and it's lightweight enough that my pup can carry it around. My dog enjoyed playing with the Good Scout Dental Ball and Cotton Rope Dog Toy. She hasn't grasped the concept of fetch yet and instead will chase after the ball and then promptly lay down and chew on it. After a few sessions she was able pick apart both the rubber ball and the Y shaped rubber piece near the loop handle, so while the toy only lasted a short amount of time she enjoyed it while it lasted.
