After all the great reviews I couldn't wait to get my pillow. I really wanted to love this. The first two nights I slept with it I fell asleep quickly but 3-4 hours later my aching shoulders woke me up and I don't have shoulder problems. the third night I went back to my 12 year old polyfill pillow with a depressed center and I slept straight through until dawn like normal and my shoulders were fine. Apparently this works great with a normal mattress but my beloved waterbed didn't get along with it. BUMMER! I do need to say that it is top quality and should last a long time if you like it.
