We've only used a few times but we have a stubborn Great Pyrenees that loves to roam the property. He is a great greeter of our guest but has behaviors that need to be curtailed. We have taken the approach of Beep-Come Home, Vibrate-Correct Action and do not plan on using the shock. So far we have held him and beeped and said home and this works like a charm. Same for vibrate, he chases our guineas hens to him them chatter and we vibrated his collar and he stopped immediately. The range is pretty good, so far we tested in about 200 yard and indoors, and it worked. But much more than that it doesn't seem to beep. We'll keep working with it! Like it so far. I did make one modification, as I do not care for the plastic collar, ordered PATPET Dog Training Collar Leash Replacement Dog Training Collar P Collar 301 & 320 from Amazon for $10 and it easily adjust to his 19 inch neck and snaps on and off, as well as fits the tight collar space to thread it through. This is the third one of these I have purchased. They work very well. The amount of shock or vibrate is adjustable and the batteries last a long time. The only reason I have had to purchase three of these is that I often forget I have the control in my pocket and I throw my pants in the washer. To my surprise right after I ordered the last one I recharged the other two that I had thrown in the washer and they charged and work. I guess I should have tried charging them after they dried out well. I guess it says a lot for the control unit. I have subsequently found out that I did not need to buy another collar set just because I left the controller in my pants pocket when I washed the pants. This collar works as expected. The batteries last for a long time. It says waterproof, but they really mean water resistant. Cheap enough to replace when they break. Read more

Bought this for a 73 pound rescue dog that had never been trained to anything. He is half pit bull and half lab. I am 74 and he was dragging me around like a rag doll. I put this collar on him after teaching him a few obedience commands because he was very head strong, and although he knew what I was telling him to do, he wouldn't listen. I used the vibrate at first and he would stop a bit and listen for a couple of minutes. Then--He was right back to not listening. I put the shock level on next at 15 so as not to shock him too much in case it made him listen. He didn't seem to notice it at all. I moved it to 25 and then that time he yelped and jumped and looked at me. I showed him the control and told him to sit. He looked at me and then the control and sat. Even listened. From then on all I need to do is get the control in my hand and his collar on and he is a very obedient boy. Sometimes I have to remind him to calm down and listen by doing the vibrate, but I don't have to use the shock. once was enough for him. Then without the collar on and the remote off, all I have to do is point it at him, and he settles right down. This is an amazing tool , but to used wisely. Use only to train, not punish. Read more

Works well! My dog was unmanageable! She's a totally different dog. All I have to do is touch the controller and she stops. I never need to shock her. She responds well to the beep. I had previously never tried a beep with any other dog. It works better than the vibrate function and I can tell right away that she has received it. The vibrate is more like a bite and she doesn't care for that. Some dogs are more sensitive to that. -a totally different dog. She is very puppy like but much better now. She would sneak off and find something to chew. I feel very blessed to have found this product. She is a boxer/whippet mix 2 yrs. Adopted from pound recently. Read more

I bought this product for our 6 month old lab to use the beep and vibrate features. This product is easy to use. We have used this product about a half dozen times. I noticed on the first or second use that the rubber prong protectors would fall off after putting on my dogs neck. I put them back on each time I saw it. Around the fourth use I checked my dogs collar around his neck to ensure the rubber prong protectors were in tact and one was missing. Lost. Well sort of...my dog ate it and it came out in his stool the next day. Not cute. The protectors should be more secure. Lastly, the remote buttons stick and the collar size is very long and flaps around. Our lab is 50 pounds and will grow more but the length of the collar is very long. Read more

I really loved this collar initially. But in less than 1 month- it stopped working. Fully charged, lights come on, remote looks to be working- but no sound, vibration or shock. After troubleshooting it, came to ask the seller about it. Turns out, the last day to return it was yesterday. Shouldn't have bothered troubleshooting it. UPDATE: Ordered a second one. Thought if I don't use it at the lake... After only 1 week it also has the same failure. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COLLAR. Amazon's return policy is atrocious. They will not allow me to return the second one. They can have them both back! 64 Bucks later and still no training collar. Too bad- the silicone covered prongs are easy on my dog's fur- the other metal ones are painful to take off since they pull out his fur. Read more

This collar has totally helped me train my German Shepard husky. He has terrible behavioral issues & now if he even hears the beep sound from the remote he immediately lays down. It’s great & has a HUGE range of vibration/shock levels. Super easy to setup & use. If you remember to turn it off when you don’t use it, the battery lasts very long. The only issue I have run into is that my dog knows when I put the collar on him so he shakes his head and the prongs slide up & don’t touch his neck so he knows it won’t work if I try to shock him.
