I primarily wanted these to allow remote control of Mr. Coffee. While still in bed, we just say, "Alexa, turn on coffee" and she reliably does it. It handles up to 10 amps (1200Watts), so it easily was good enough for the task. Some other switches can only handle a hundred or so watts. My coffee maker is small, but still uses 625W. Works flawlessly. Being a double outlet is a huge bonus for my sons gecko tank that has a daylight and a nightlight that need to be physically turned on and off depending on the time of day. Many times, my son is not around to plug or unplug the lights and the gecko suffers because of it. No more suffering little guy! The single plugs work better than the dual but they are still not bad. Does take some patience so get them to see the wifi ect. and yes I have dual band. (see my review of single plug) It is better to sit by your router and get them on wifi/app then move them where you want them. Read more

I have several of these plugs but needed more. The old ones work great but the new ones won't connect to Alexa. I worked with customer service for about an hour to no avail. They work fine through the Jinvoo app but are useless with Alexa. Unfortunately, I will be returning them. Read more

I ordered 2 sets of these outlets. I have only had issues with one. The problem I ran in to was on set up and connecting to wifi and app. I pressed button in to initiate set up and pairing mode, and the button went in really far and would not come out. I ended up getting a razor blade and trying to pull button out. If i press it in it gets stuck so i dont use it manually i use app to shut off the smart outlet. I am going to write the company and see if i can exchange this plug for another in hopes that this issue does not cause anything electrical or lead to fire. I do not think it will but just to be safe i would prefer a outlet in better condition. Read more
