Like most everything about it.
As with many new microwaves had to fight with the child lock feature to turn it off. At least I could deactivate that. I have to say it's the best new microwave we've tried out of 3 in the last few years. The control panel is logical and straight forward. The power is what I would expect vs the rating and its 1 touch button heating is normal. There some strange ''express'' heating features I've seen on other models. To sum it up this Kenmore is normal, yay to an everyday consumer product being useful. Read more
It works…ALTHOUGH…
It works great and easy to use. ALTHOUGH, It doesn’t seem to be as well (solid) built as the same Kenmore (size and power) that I purchase in 2012. ALTHOUGH, from what I can tell from reading all the reviews from similar size and power microwaves…that seems to be the case with ALL low-end models. It also makes a noticeable “vibration” noise when started and repeats on and off when running. THIS does NOT bother me. ALTHOUGH, I am glad that I purchased the extended warranty. On the plus side….You can disable the child-lock AND the notification beeper is not too loud. I read in reviews for other manufactures’ models that the beeper can be very loud. In closing, it works, although I have my doubts that it will perform in the long run. Read more

Very Sad
So I purchased our Kenmore microwave August 3 2025 and have used it and really liked it until now. Last night I pressed the button to open it and it broke just like that. Then the microwave would not turn on and the door would not open. I called the help number on the back of our microwave and a customer service representative on the phone and he asked for the model number which I gave him, but he provided basically no help at all and then today. I saw that there are no replacement parts for the door. I am so sad that it only lasted less than a year. We went with a Kenmore because we have always found that product to be well made and work for a long period of time. Read more
