I bought this to use on my chair when I watch tv. I have it attached to the arm rest. (Yeah, I'm that lazy). It works great. The spring on the clamp is a little stiff, probably a good thing, but it does hold well. Took it on a flight, clipped it to the tray while in upright position and watched movies the whole flight. It was awesome. Clipped it to edge of nightstand at hotel and had an alarm clock as well. I like it so much I bought a second one to use in the workshop. The way they designed the arm lets you put the phone at any angle. Well done! If your phone doesn't come with MagSafe, they include a magnetic ring that attaches with an adhesive. I bought this for an overseas flight - did not work so well. I never could figure out how to get it to work on the plane. Not so easy to use. Instead, i use it in the car in my air vent and it holds up well there. Phone does not fall off even if i hit a bump. Read more
