Love cast iron cooking
I got rid of all my cast iron 20 yrs ago because the Glass top Stove manufacturer said, "no". Well, I've learned from others who use iron that it's not a problem, just use normal caution, don't slam heavy objects down on your stove top. I'm so happy I got back in the game, some much nicer, no more peeling "non-stick" coatings, no more of those lame "Ceramic" coatings that are now what the claim and no worries about scratching the surfaces. My fried eggs don't stick to the "non-stick (crappy)" pans cuz my iron cooks them perfectly. And I'm an outdoor, BBQ briquette person, but when in a hurry IRON makes a mean steak!
