Portable Wireless Carplay Car Stereo 7 HD Touchscreen for Car with Apple CarPlay Android Auto with Backup Camera

I bought 2 of these screens, one used for Android Auto, and the other used with Apple CarPlay in two separate cars. Both of the screens lock up without any user input every couple minutes. If you want to play music through the aux output, that will only make it lock up sooner and cause your music to play in broken chunks. The screen is so bad that it is nearly impossible to see in the daylight regardless of the brightness setting. The audio, when it does work, may be the worst I've ever heard. UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER: seller gave me a new device, and it connects to AUX. This then bumps it from a 2 stars to 3 stars. Only negative is the device makes a static sound when the music isn’t playing. I just have learned to turn down my volume when I do not need to listen to music. Original post: Bought this for Prime Day, and have had this working for about 2 months now. Good install, only took 30 mins. Around month three, the AUX port stopped working. I have to tape the AUX from the back to the front to hopefully get audio, but it no longer works. Extremely disappointed. The only function that now works is the FM transmitter, and when traveling long distances, I have to change the channel every few miles due to the cracking. My car does not have Bluetooth, so it’s not an option for me. Read more

2nd UPDATE: The new CarPlay has quit connecting to our car. I hate it’s not working properly. When it worked it was great. I reached back out to the company and they have refunded my purchase. I offered to send back product but they didn’t need it. The customer service for this company has been amazing. UPDATED: This company reached out to me and sent us a new CarPlay free of charge. It had a different attachment for the dash and it doesn’t fall off now! So far no complaints from my daughter. Bought this for my 16 yr old for directions. It keeps falling off the dash. Very aggravating! She uses car play and chose to pair it with her radio. Sometimes this is hard to get to work and we have to change the stations. It does give her directions if it stays up. Worked fine for the first month or so- if fine means unresponsive, slow touchscreen, spotty connection, etc. But at least it usually worked. Then, conveniently a bit after the return window closed, I started having major problems. The audio would constantly disconnect. The screen would freeze and require the device to be reset constantly. Eventually it just started disconnecting randomly...during drives. Yep, the screen would start disconnecting when you're driving around the highway. Real safe, good luck fiddling with it to figure out your directions. That was all until today where I started my car and it would not connect at all. My phone said connected, the screen didn't. STOP!! DON'T ORDER THIS. This was the first of two attempts at buying one of these electronic turds on here. They don't connect to android auto. They freeze up if they do. In the two minutes they stay connected if you try to play music it will be very choppy, until it freezes. If all you want is a Bluetooth connected aux cable for audio, that it will do (not through android auto, but just the devices native audio player). SO, when the first one was an absolute lemon (Yongeid "brand" @~$40 on Amazon) I ordered a different branded one. (PASLDA "brand" @~$65 on Amazon). I was again excited for the delivery. I opened the shipping package and much to my surprise, it was the EXACT same device. I still had the first one, waiting to return it. So I hooked it up on the mount of the first, plugged it in and bam, same POS. I wish I could recommend a proper replacement, but the search continues. Read more

Useful when it acts right. I find myself constantly having to replug/reboot it multiple.times despite Android auto connecting to it consistently. A bit annoying for those with vehicle accessory lights that don't shut off right away as it forces its connection to your phone nonstop until your car is completely asleep. I purchased this product primarily for the screen mirroring feature. Despite the description saying it would play through android play, it requires a secondary app to be downloaded and does not work well with playing videos. It constantly tries to reconnect to android auto play and forces you to disable and enable apps in-between using each. When playing, the video is choppy and often lags. To promote this as an assest feature of the product is very misleading. If mirroring is part of the desire for the product, look elsewhere! Read more

Misleading product, the display bezels are much larger than the images show on the store listing. The mount arm is fragile, the ball broke off of the arm after a short period of time. There is no way to contact the seller through Amazon for a resolution after the return window is closed, as there is no mention of a warranty. The device does function as expected but is laggy, but considering the price point it isn’t bad at all. Overall I would recommend going with a different product with more support from the seller.
