I have been iron deficient since childhood. It got better eventually, but with each pregnancy I got depleted a little more. They told me at the hospital that my iron level is at the verge of being too low, but is still within acceptable levels, so I didn’t take it seriously and did not take iron supplements because I was already constipated with pregnancy. I didn’t want to make it worse. Long story short, I started noticing shite spots and indents on my and my kids nails. I even started giving it to my 9 and my 6 years old. I give each 1 capsule. The capsules are very small and easy even for the kids to swallow. And the dose in 1 capsule is only 60% DV for adult so it was safe to take for my kids. Besides, I don’t give it to them every day. I skip some days. Will not know if increased iron levels till next blood test so can't say how effective. I have yet to have an iron supplement work hopeful on this one. Take first thing in the morning with a big glass of water. Bathroom movements normal no constipation of course I eat a bread that is a great source of fiber. Doesn't bother my stomach at all, do like that it is a lower amount of iron and I do take 5 times a week. If my iron levels go up I will buy again , if not then I will try another brand. I purchased these on October 6, 2025. I began taking them October 12th. I'm giving this 3 stars only for the size of the capsule and being gentle on my stomach. After being on these for a month, alternating between taking 1-2 pills a day because my iron and ferratin is very low, last week my labs were still the same, from September. Not even a push. I should have known tho because sometimes, I still crave ice. I really had high hopes for these. Im still going to finish the bottle because these cost alot. I guess its back to the drawing board.
