These work as advertised. We use RT22 radios as well, and the RT68s are louder and have the channel knob on the top of the radio, which is easier to use than buttons under talk-button on RT22. Having their own base charger is nice as well, as they can stand upright on desks, counters, etc. Haven't had long enough to test over extended time, but battery life is most likely better than RT22 as well.
