I absolutely love this appliance! I used it for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! Saved me so much time and extra pans. Everything about this appliance is top notch, I especially love that the steamer basket is stainless steel and I like the large capacity of the pans. I have owned other similar products but this one is Great! The color (terracotta) is beautiful and i got many compliments on this appliance. Read more
I've used this cooker several times now, and while it has some strong points, there are a few issues worth noting. The pan is quite large, making it versatile for different recipes and cooking styles. It comes with useful accessories: a silicone pad to protect your counter, plus a silicone spatula and ladle - nice bonuses that add value. The pan heats up quickly with even heat distribution across the bottom. It is reasonably priced for what you get. The product description mentions both aluminum and stainless steel, but it's not entirely clear what's what. The cooking pan appears to be aluminum with interior and exterior coatings. While they advertise it as PFAS-free (which is good), I wish they would disclose exactly what type of coating they use - transparency about food-contact materials would be appreciated. The steam basket does appear to be stainless steel as advertised. The base housing is plastic. It feels cheap. I notice a plastic smell when using it. I was hoping this would be temporary, but after multiple uses, the smell persists. This is my main concern with the product. The controls are very basic - just a simple knob with off/low/medium/high settings. There's no timer function or temperature control to maintain a constant heat level, which would be helpful for certain cooking methods. Bottom Line: It's a decent hot pot for the price with good capacity and accessories, but the persistent plastic smell gives me pause. The basic controls may also be limiting for those who want more precise cooking control. Read more

This pot is good for making omelettes, spaghetti sauce and any number of other dishes. It gets used in our house every day . I would recommend this item. It heats up too much for me to use as a slow cooker however. Read more

Great capacity. The pot and the steamer are easy to use and work like a charm Read more
Short version: It's works very wel, is easy to use, and hassle free for mala and shabu-shabu. BUT: The build quality is subpar at best, every part minus the lid feels cheap. ALSO: It is quite big and I would not advise using this for as a personal/single person hotpot. That said though, it's cheap for how well it works and as long as you understand the points above, I can recommend this hotpot. Pros: +Powerful, it brings up hotpot amounts (~6 cups) of broth to boiling in about 7-8 minutes +It's really big. 11.8" doesn't sound big, but it's bigger than it sounds and easily has enough space for 6-8 people's worth of hotpot. For reference, there's easily enough space and power to throw in 2 people's worth of veggies, mushrooms, fish balls, noodles, seafood, and beef all at the same time. Cons: -Build quality is subpar. The base is almost entirely plastic and the pot & steamer are made from really thin aluminum. The finish also isn't the best, and my pot already has scuffs despite only being used twice and carefully hand washed. Additionally, the power knob feels flimsy. -There's nowhere to store the power cord. There is a cable spool in the bottom of the base, but the plug is too thick and does not fit underneath Neutral: =I'm not a huge fan of only having 3 power settings, but at least they are true power stages rather than on-off timer based. Other: =If you're going to use this with an extension cord, make sure it's at least 16 gauge or thicker. I used it with a 25' 16 gauge extension and high power was enough to get the extension really warm. =I really wish there was a built in holder for the lid =Power cord is hardwired to the base and has a 2 prong plug =Price is $100 at time of writing, optional dual sided hotpot is another $60 Read more
