After going through 2 of the highest priced Dyson's in one year, and trying two other brands of cordless vacs, I was beginning to think that I would be stuck using my heavy corded machine every day to take care of the pet hair and sporadic kitty litter that makes its way around my hardwood floors! I just decided to take a chance on this latest version of Samsung's cordless stick vacuum. I was really just hoping for a cord free vac that wouldn't fall apart right out of the box, that might pick up a bit of the kitty litter that escapes my robot kitty litter box every day. Fast forward, this stick vacuum is fantastic. The quality alone, of both the stick vacuum and its self emptying base was night and day compared to the other brands I've had. This specific Samsung model is so powerful, that I rarely use my big corded vacuum now. The AI function actually works! It adjusts its suction based on both the floor surface type you have, as well as the amount of dust/debris that you're picking up. I especially like how it lights up the hardwood and tile floors I have in darker corners of my house. It shows dust and bits that would have been missed with my corded vac. The battery lasts long enough to work through my entire house using the AI function. I also love the MAX settings for areas around pet beds, and for when I'm cleaning out my car! I was hesitant about paying this kind of money for a cord free vacuum. But, it was so worth the money. Fantastic vacuum for pet owners or when you're sick of wasting money replacing yet another Dyson or Shark, etc. No regrets on this purchase for me! Read more

So far, I like pretty much everything about this stick vacuum cleaner. The one main exception is that it doesn’t stand on its own. To me, this is a major drawback. It has a stand for storage, self-cleaning, diagnostics, and recharging. But you can’t take the stand from room to room so if you need to pause to do something then you either have to lay it down or find a wall, preferably with a ridge to ensure it does not fall over. They offered some lame excuse in the documentation that sounded like they wanted to avoid some legal liability in the event that it fell. Now that I got that out of the way, let me talk about what I do like. I like the aforementioned multi-function stand. I have yet to fill up a bag so I can’t comment on that part. The attachments are easy to swap out and use. I believe I have used each attachment and they all seem to work well. The auto suction adjustment feature seems to work well. You can manually increase or decrease the suction whenever desired. I think it is a bit overpriced due solely to its inability to stand on its own. Read more

This vacuum does a great job. It feels like a higher quality than others that I have purchased. The AI feature does not seem to make a difference. If it is reliable, then it is worth the expensive price tag. Read more

I purchased this vacuum based on the solid list of reviews and consumer reports recommendation. We have mostly hardwood floors and a dog, theoretically nothing too taxing. A good vacuum is something you appreciate when you use it and then don't think about it much beyond that. I don't believe I have ever been more infuriated by a product in my life. This particular vacuum was the more expensive option we considered and every time it malfunctions I'm reminded of how much I spent on it, which only serves to further irritate me.. It has an error message pop up almost every time I use it and then it stops working in order to make certain you're reading the urgent message; 'check micro filter', 'check dustbin', 'clogged tube', 'check brush' all of which after a thorough inspection are not visibly a problem or malfunctioning. Then, in order to get it working again, you have to place back onto its base station so it can go through its whole process of resetting only to have it do it again extending what should be a ten minute job into a thirty minute torture session where your reminded of how dumb a decision I made in purchasing this particular vacuum. In the end it would likely be quicker for me to just get out the broom and dust bin. Please listen to this warning and do not purchase this bespoke Samsung nightmare. I would like to return this item as it is only 3 months old so love to hear back from anyone about what can be done. Thank you. Read more

I have been using this vacuum for 3 months; 2 dog, 1 cat household; 1400 square feet of hardwood floor with area rugs. Pro Good suction on all surfaces. Good edge cleaning Debris doesn’t shoot out from back of vacuum Hand tool works very well on furniture although the shape of the motor is cumbersome Quiet except auto empty is LOUD but only lasts for a few seconds Battery life Con AI turns vacuum to bare floor mode on my wool dense pile area rug and carpeted stairs; making pushing the vacuum very hard Dust bin doesn’t empty completely when placed on auto empty receptacle Vacuum stick doesn’t stand on its own Stick often retracts to short Doesn’t swivel Opening dust cup is almost impossible for small hands I mostly like the vacuum. I kept it because of how quiet it is when vacuuming, battery life and how well it picks up. I haven’t yet found a perfect vacuum - corded or cordless. I paid $799 for it - I wouldn’t pay a penny more. The deciding factor of worth will be how long the vacuum and battery last. Read more

It’s very quiet in the AI mode and good battery life. A little harder to push on a rug than I’d like but nothing that difficult. Excellent of floors. I like the wand extends since I’m taller. The wand also comes off for using it as a handheld vacuum for furniture or the car. Well designed. Read more
