I was very disappointed with the sizing of this item. I based my purchase on the size chart. I’m usually an XS and according to the chart, that would have fit correctly. I ordered a S so it would be a little more oversized like the model. It was so tight I couldn’t button it at the bottom. The top buttons were stretched to close. I went up too sizes for an oversized look. L seemed much larger than only two sizes up. So I tried a medium. Still way too big and the sleeves just hang in a weird and unflattering way. I had high hopes for the sweater but there is no size that will make it look as pictured on the model. The material is very soft and I love that it’s machine washable. I was super excited to get this and use it over the holidays. Look stylish versus wearing frayed old stuff. This company makes such well made items. So I was surprised to see this stuffed in an open wrinkled plastic bag then crammed into a paper mailer bag. Which the post man in turn crammed into my mailbox. When I opened it, there was burnt yarn ashes/dust on the button and the yarn around the buttonhole looked burnt too. The yarn was frayed and running. :( I am so sad and disappointed. Read more

This Irish cable-knit cardigan is the real deal. It's so beautiful, with gorgeous cabling and thick merino wool. It has a lovely long length, which is both flattering and provides extra warmth on those cold winter days. The rich cranberry color is saturated and intensely pigmented. The sizing is snug, so if you want a slightly roomier fit to wear a sweater underneath this one, you may want to size up. I have a 34" bust and ordered a large, and this is roomy on my but not too much so, and I am glad for the extra give in the fit in order to have the absolute most coziness possible. If you want a really fitted look, do not size up. That might make it somewhat more professional in appearance, but will take away from the absolute comfort of the larger size. This sweater looks just as pictured and the sizing chart is accurate. I am tall with a 36D chest and the medium just fits me. I am able to button it up and it has a comfortable fit - not loose, but not too tight. The sleeves just hit my wrists and the sweater falls to just under my rear. I love the distressed large wooden buttons and the color of the charcoal gray. I was expecting it to be itchy because it is 100% wool but it isn't bad at all. Hand wash only (instructions on tag). Well made, soft and warm. I ordered XXL thinking I would have room to wear something under it for extra warmth when needed, but this fits perfectly as it is. The color is almost perfect with small imperfections that speak to it being 100% Merino wool. Summer is about to begin and I'm already eager for winter so I can enjoy this sweater to the fullest. Looks great, feels great and will keep me warm this winter. The buttons down the front have button holes large enough to hold the sweater closed but not so small as to be difficult to fasten.
