This 8000 btu air conditioner is an ideal size for use in a modestly sized room like an office. It is a lot more compact and quiet compared to running a larger unit. It runs quiet and keeps my office super cool. It has adjustable temperature to turn on and off as needed to hold a certain room temperature. I have this in my home office and bought it in gray since it blends in better with my other office furniture. I think it’s nice that air conditioners have more color options these days. Actually does well in a large area that I'm using it in But a smaller room like a bedroom it would be even better. The color is subtle and it fits nicely.It's not too big.It's definitely not noisy. AMAZING! This unit gets my room so nice and cold super easy to install noise level is minimal easy to clean and even when the tank fills up with water it is easy to empty by just putting a towel underneath and leaning it over. I have zero complaints. I have had no leakage or any problems with the power. It is a great value for your money. Not to mention my German Shepherd loves sitting in front of it to cool off. My worst mistake was buying before going out of town for an emergency , when I ordered I got it late, didn’t get a chance to test it.. when I came back I installed it and it’s been two days and it doesn’t cool, it only blows air but it doesn’t cool the room.. and it’s very noisy.. I have a smaller one in another room that I bought in Home Depot and it cools down the room in a matter of minutes.. I trusted the good reviews they have, and got stuck with a trash ac unit.. The window fitting that came with my unit was bent in the box. I tried contacting the company, but I never heard back from them about getting a replacement part. The unit works, and my room is cooler, but it would be nice to have a window piece that fits a bit more snuggly in the window. Read more
