This is a good quality portable air conditioner. Perfect for our 18ft x 20ft office. It is a large unit 28 H X 17 W but the smooth rolling wheels make it very easy to move around and store away when not in use. Connecting the window kit is simple and the best thing is it does not block the view from our window. The instructions say the water condensate blows out the air tube but if you have high humidity you need to fit a water collection tube on the back of the unit and use a small container to collect the excess water. The remote control has all the functions as the control panel and has good range. The remote uses 2 AAA batteries. These are not included so make sure you order them before the AC arrives. The unit has ASHRAE 12000 BTU/hr and SACC 8000 BTU/hr ratings. There are three fan speeds. It is very quiet at the low fan speed. I love the automatic top vent that opens when turned on and can also oscillate the cold air up and down. The unit has a good energy star rating of $108 per year which is medium for this size air conditioner. This is a very good quality air conditioner that tames the summer heat and humidity. Read more

There are a lot of things I really like about this air conditioner and a few things I wish it had that other units I've had previous had. PROS - It's small, compact and rolls easily on carpet. - It's really easy to set up. Just plug it in, attach the hose, and go. - The part of the hose that connects to the window insert is low on the insert so it doesn't obstruct the view. I love this (other units often put it up further and the hose obstructs the view) - The part that attaches to the window insert allows the hose to push away from the window a bit which is great. Other units don't have this and an inset window can have issues sometimes. - The hose attachment that attaches to the back of the unit snaps in. This prevents it from randomly falling out if the unit has to be moved. This has been an issue with other units. - The two attachments for the hose are thick and durable plastic. I appreciate this. Many accessories are cheap afterthoughts. These are made to last. - The window insert has a wingnut that holds the two pieces together at the height I want. Other units I've had have had pins and things like that which fall out during storage or movement. This is so much more solid. - The remote works great. Lots of options for air conditioning, fan, dehumidification, etc. - The outlet cord can be wrapped around the back of the unit during storage. Other units I've had don't have any place for the cord. - The output is great. Three fan speed options and gets plenty cold with air conditioning. - There's an auto function to attempt to keep the temp at whatever I set it at. - The remote uses icons which is easier to figure out from a distance. - The fan opening is bigger than some other units I've used. Makes the top speed really windy. Love that. - There are two ports in the back for water condensation and dehumidification. - The filter is easy to remove and clean. CONS - I have been struggling with getting the auto function to manage the temp I set it at. Not really sure why. The unit will know what temp I want it to be but will stop the air conditioning at a higher temp. I still get fan movement, but sometimes even that stops. I end up switching it back and forth between air conditioning and the fan to get it to keep a good temp. Still learning about it but this could be an issue that I don't love eventually. - The window insert doesn't reach all the way to the top of my window. I wish it was longer. This has been an issue with other units too but no one ever includes an additional insert or sells a separate one. - I wish it had a carry bag or storage bag for the accessories: the hose, the window insert, drain hose, etc. - It's a tad bit louder than previous units I've had. Not a ton but I had to get used to the sound of the fan and A/C. Still relatively quiet but... - Every now and again, it has a knocking sound. It's not very loud and it doesn't happen all the time but it makes me worry about the quality or longevity. Overall, I am impressed. There's a lot to like about this air conditioner and I have really enjoyed most of Serene Life's products that I have recently gotten. Price is pretty comparable to other units of the same size. This is my fifth inverter-style air conditioner in the last 3 years. Just like the prior 4, this one performs just as well as expected although it is NOT as energy efficient as a two-hose unit. Keep that in mind because over the long haul a double hose or integrated double hose unit like the Midea (& Toshiba) may save you some $ for not a lot more upfront cost. Here is what we like: The single-hose inverter design is suuupeer easy to install. It can be installed into a window with either a more typical horizontal orientation, or a vertical opening orientation. In our case, it was vertical. Setup is easy. More or less, we rolled it out and connected the hose to flange, fitted the flange into an insert on the unit, and then set the other half into a plastic plate that sits just inside the window. The pane can be expanded to fit the length of the window. NOTE: You may need to cut the extension. It's intuitive and easy to do. We did. Once both the remote and on-unit controls allow for operation. What I do NOT like is the small icons on the unit. It is tough to tell what mode you're in. The remote is also a little archaic in design. Neither of these factors means anything after a little bit of playing around but they make using the unit less than ideal. Beyond that.. it BLOWS COLD and cools FAST. I have no doubt that it meets its capacity as it seems just as powerful as similar 120 units I own. At $370 I think it is reasonably priced albeit not as cheap as it could be. In summary.. RECOMMENDED My Dad and I put this one together in our workshed. Read more

This 3-in-1 portable AC unit has been a game-changer for my space! The cooling is powerful and fast—perfect for my bedroom, which is about 350 sq ft. I love that it also functions as a dehumidifier and fan, giving me flexibility depending on the weather. The unit is surprisingly quiet, even on higher settings, and the auto-swing feature helps distribute cool air evenly. Setup was simple with the included window kit, and moving it between rooms is a breeze thanks to the smooth casters and lightweight build. The remote control and adjustable speeds are super convenient, and I appreciate the energy-efficient design using R32 refrigerant. It’s well-built, effective, and perfect for staying comfortable without the hassle of a bulky system. Highly recommend! Read more
