LOVE LOVE LOVE This vacuum. I had an older shark cordless vacuum that was heavy and had to constantly clean not only is the head easy to clean on this but it self cleans and empty's after every use. Buying this as refurbished helped dampen the cost and the vacuum works great like new! Read more
Purchased a refurbished one half a year ago after reading consumer reports. When it comes to cordless vacuums; paying more does not get you a better product. What sets this one apart from others is the station that it sits on. As soon as you put it onto that dock, it starts recharging so you don't ever have to think about plugging it in to charge. With a push of a button, the bottom of the dirt bin drops out and it is cleanly emptied into the docking station. We use it on hardwood floors. We have a dog. It sucks pet hair really well from the floors but not from sofas or car upholstery. It clogs at the head as expected. There is a button that allows you to boost the sucking power as you clean. Weight isn't an issue, the 9 year old is pulling it out and using it. The only downside we have found is that the dirt compartment door has a magnetic clasp that holds it shut. If you happen to have metal of any kind in your dirt compartment, it will become attached when it auto empties resulting in a compartment that doesn't close completely and leaks suction power. UPDATE: Vacuum stopped working after 2 months of minimum use. I have repeatedly tried contacting the seller, AMERICAN TOYZ, with one response of a troubleshooting instruction. It didn't work. The vacuum, fully clean and fully charged had no suction whatsoever. I replied that it didn't work. No response despite repeated attempts to contact them. I contacted Amazon, with nothing but a loop text response. I purchased extra warranty coverage from Asurion, who keeps sending me instructions that keep me in that text loop. Very bad situation with ZERO customer service from AMERICAN TOYZ, Amazon, or Asurion. Love this vacuum. Powerful. I absolutely love the self-emptying feature! Read more
