These things are super sharp. Like ninja samurai sharp. Steak tough? not anymore... just cut with ease. Read more
I never thought I'd complain about this, but...
...these knives are too sharp! Don't get me wrong: They are perfection for slicing through steak, duck breast, etc. However, when we tried to slice the meat from a chicken thigh, they proved so sharp that they cut through both meat and gristle with equal ease! We both looked up and stared at each other in wonder at finding our mouths suddenly stuffed with a part of the bird we'd intended to leave behind. We then attempted to gather the next bite using even less pressure on the knife, and it happened again! Definitely buy these blades. They are both beautiful and glide through even the toughest cut of meat as though it were butter. Just consider either a lesser blade for chicken or a brighter light for the dining room. Read more

I am doubting the legitimacy of these knives. I am no blade smith but I am under the impression that the pattern in damaskus steel is like a finger print. Every blade is unique due to the process of making damaskus… All of these knives have exactly the same pattern on the blades. This seems more like a stamped impression than pattern welding. I’d like some input from others that know more… Read more
