My last tripod was destroyed by a guy who went crazy and attacked my gear while I was out on a shoot. After that, I spent a long time searching for a tripod with fewer latches—finding one with only three at a reasonable price turned out to be harder than I expected. Then I remembered SmallRig always delivers exactly what I need. After more research and reading reviews, I chose this one. The quality is outstanding: it looks solid and heavy but is surprisingly light and easy to move. The only downside is the tripod head—one of the buttons jammed, and now I can’t use it without worrying my camera might slide off. I’ll probably need to look into getting it replaced. Read more
