Smartwool Womens Everyday Cozy Popcorn Snowflake Crew Socks

Besides being very cute these socks are cozy and feel so soft and luxurious on my feet. I read reviews about these socks not being up to Smartwool standards... but I disagree. I own many pair of Smartwool and Darn Tough wool socks because I hike a lot. The weave is not as dense as the general hiking socks but these socks are more for wearing with casual boots or putting on your feet lounging around the house. I have worn them hiking and they are a touch thicker than the other denser hiking sock but they worked perfectly well for shorter hiking. I wouldn't recommend for multi-day hikes. There are NO holes or snags in them as I have seen some people say. I don't understand those reviews. I have purchased three pairs of these type (Popcorn Socks) and I haven't had a problem with any of them. My calves are average and my feet are small. I generally buy a small sock when buying the micro hiking socks but for these I bought a medium so that they didn't fit tightly around my calf. I love the colors and pattern of these sox. They’re warm and look good. They fit a bit shorter than shown in the photos on Amazon, and I’m only 5’1 and 1/2”. They wash well on gentle cycle cold and need to be line-dried (or hung on a plastic hanger in the bathroom). Read more
