I'm a Smartwool fan in general, so I tend to opt for their products when I can. These socks are probably my favorite version of a Smartwool sock that I've purchased. They're perfect weight for everyday wear, but do great on a hike as well. My feet weren't sweaty and hot, and no blisters appeared. They're a great color and great fit. I wear an 8 in shoes and the medium fits perfectly. Definitely buying more of this type for my long-distance backpacking trip next year. Read more

I bought two pair of smart wool socks for multiple reasons: (1) They last forever; (2) the different levels of cushioning let me pick a pair I knew would make one pair of walking shoes I own fit better (because they were a little too wide for me).
