Bought these for a "frostbite" series of races. Amazing! They are very soft, very comfortable, and my feet were toasty throughout the 3 miles. Better than the double layers of regular socks I usually wear. A bit pricey, but worth it! Read more

Smartwool Simply Makes the Best Cold Weather Socks
No one makes better and thinner cold weather socks. I use these for all weather and especially cold weather running - have been great at 15 F and I use their thin over the calf sock as my only sock for skiing )have used below zero F without any cold toes. They’re unreal. And they absorb sweat and odor and only need to be machine washed once a week. Worth every cent as they’re pricey. They’re simply an incredible product. Read more
