While I like these socks for running or fast walking, I do not like them as much as the Balega brand socks. These a thinner and do not provide as much protection from my shoe rubbing against my ankle and the bottom of my foot. About the same price as the Balega socks, but the quality and thickness is not as good. These socks are not hot, even when wearing them in the Southern US on a hot summer day. They also do not cause your feet to sweat on a hot Southern day. Read more

I wear a women's USA size 11 shoe and the large sock fit perfect. I've washed these about a dozen times and they withheld their shape and the cushion. Is a very comfortable sock that is not tight around my calf. Read more
