Have had this fry pan for several weeks and use it almost daily. Love that there is no long handle to get in the way. I find it easy to clean, heats evenly and looks good to just set it on table as serving dish (keeps food warmer as it retains heat longer). I find Staub products worth their higher price. It is enameled cast iron so a little heavy but this senior citizen has no problems with it. I just ordered two more to give as gifts!! Read more

I am so glad that I got this pan. It’s size 26. The way meat, fish or vegetables cook in the pan is amazing and totally different from my stainless steel pan. I immediately noticed that when I made caramelized onion! Also, when I sauté vegetables, they don’t accumulate moisture. It’s like a magic and food tastes much better. And also we started using it as a pizza stone. We leave the Staub pan in oven during pre heating and broil once we put the pizza in the pan. We are using this pan everyday now! And also, even if I burn a bit, I put it under soapy water, I can clean it effortlessly. This is a great acquisition and I’m very satisfied with it. Read more

I have an extensive enamel cast-iron cookware collection, including Le Creuset, Staub, and other manufacturers. By far, the Staub is the best! Cooks the most evenly and much more easily cleanable. Use this for searing chicken and meats on the cooktop, then adding vegetables and roasting in the oven. Great for casseroles that keep food warm after cooking and for seconds. I purchased this pan to accompany my Staub Dutch oven, and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a beautiful investment if you take care of it. Just an FYI though, it’s not a non stick surface so keep that in mind when frying/cooking foods that don’t contain a lot of fat. It’s heavy but cast iron is such an efficient way to cook. Read more
