Staub is a great brand and overall I prefer their product over my Le Creuset. I wanted a grill since I no longer have a yard [apt dwelling] and no outside grill. Not the same I know but I have been very happy with this little grill. It's a smaller size than most and round vs square which I like. It's from Japan and the style I used there. Difficult to find this size and shape in the US. Cleaning is pretty easy. After using, boil some water and add baking soda. Let it sit then wash and use a brush [not wire!] to clean the grooves.
