This item was fun to review because it did have vintage looks and appeal to anyone that can remember lighting with original Edison Electric bulbs of 1890 and slightly beyond. Maybe you were only acquainted by an old faithful Edison bulb in a basement room, such as a coal bin or fruit cellar. The shape of the bulb is slender and long like the old Edison. These bulbs do not come to a sharp point or tip at the top; of the envelope which is a good thing. Even Edison dispensed with that in order that his light bulb hanging down on a typical pendant would not be broken by a passing step ladder or tall person in a hard hat. That is just one of the many things to like about this review item. I am already using these in a pair of lamps in my living room. The light temperature is 4000 Kelvin providing me with a Cool Bright Light at a sixty watt equivancy of a standard old fashioned incandescent bulb. All of the bulbs in this Sunco 12 Pack worked, none were broken or damaged in shipment that is because of the great packaging right down to the individual boxes for each bulb. The light emission from these bulbs is impressive, and the estimated service life of over 22 years is even more impressive. Nothing extra to buy, just screw them in to any Edison candelabra base, E26 and your worlds will be bright. I would like to point out that the Sunco folks offer these in a warmer edition if that is your preference. 5000K is also available. Same light output just a different color temperature. I have already appropriated four of these bulbs for service in my apartment. One of them has found a home in a vintage fireplace mantel lamp circa 1900. Two more for a pair of lamps in my living room, (SEE IMAGE) one more for the lamp on my bedside table. This multi-bulb buy of 12 is a tremendous value. Not only for quantity, the performance of each bulb, but also for the energy savings along with the predicted service life. I could not find any negatives with these bulbs, they are a superior item. I wanted some spare bulbs for a sputnik-style kitchen fixture that's dimmable, so I picked these Sunco T45 Edison-Style LED bulbs up. But before I had a chance to try one of them in the intended fixture, one of our 3-way table lamp's light bulb burned out. I had run out of old-style filament bulbs, so decided to try one of these in it. These bulbs fit perfectly in what I guess I call "normal" bulb fixtures -- the size of regular old-school light bulbs, technically called E26. I found out that it won't light up at all on the lowest setting, but does light up on the next two clicks (getting slightly brighter on the second click). The light output is very good, and the color temperature (2700K soft white) seems accurate -- it's just right for a living room lamp for reading. The biggest problem I find with LED bulbs is they tend to be to bright on the color temperature range, anything over 4000K is just so blinding , even at lower lumen level, so whenever I find a deal on a good low K bulb like this one ,which is 2700k, I’m more than willing to try it. I’m very happy with these, good light , good color so they don’t look weird as a sidelight as they are quite warm color, temperature, wise,. I’m very pleased with them. Read more

I liked the vintage look of these Sunco 12-Pack T45 Edison LED Bulbs. These bulbs are 60-watt equivalent, dimmable, and energy efficient with a promise of longevity. I was looking for a particular bulb length for a bedside lamp. The vintage look with the standard base was priced very reasonably for a box of 12, and I knew I could use them in many places in my home. The bulbs came securely packed. I could tell these weren’t your run-of-the-mill bulbs. They had a clear tubular design with visible dimmable filament and looked vintage. I planned to use these in my desk lamp, which has a horizontal bulb orientation and a unique lampshade. I was trying to find an LED bulb shorter than normal that would be compact enough to fit without touching the lampshade and causing a fire hazard. I wanted an energy-efficient bulb that was long-lasting and did not put out heat. At just over 4 inches from base to tip, I found these bulbs were too long for my desk lamp. While they looked fantastic and were dimmable as promised, they didn’t quite fit the tight space I had in mind. But that’s on me—these bulbs are designed for larger fixtures. The quality of the daylight hue is bright without being harsh. The bulbs have smooth and consistent dimming capabilities and are quality-made with a rounded top. They’d be perfect for my desk lamps or smaller fixtures if they were a little shorter. These Sunco T45 Edison LED Bulbs are a great choice if you want some vintage charm and modern efficiency. They’re well-made, energy-saving, and provide exceptional light quality. Just be sure to check your fixture’s dimensions before ordering. While they didn’t fit my desk lamp, I’m thrilled to have them and already have a few spots in mind where they’ll work just fine. These are perfect, a good size and shape (they fit my small and tall, cylindrically shaped lamp shade perfectly). The light is bright but not glaring, a bit soft and warm but not too yellow (my lamp doesn't have a dimmer function so I can't speak to that but the listing does say they are dimmable). These are great quality for the price. I included some photos so you can see the dimensions, that is the only mildly negative feedback I have is that I could not find the measurements anywhere in the product information prior to ordering and I wasn't sure they would fit my lamp shade, so I almost didn't order them. But I took a chance and am happy that I did. Read more
