These are really great LED light bulbs. Although they are fan bulbs, we are using them in our kitchen table chandelier—that fixture has open-top glass globes that must be a little too short for regular sized (A19) light bulbs, because tops of the bulbs stick up above the globes. These A15 fan bulbs work great for a whole lot of reasons—they are smaller so they don't stick up above the glass globes, at 800 lumens they are brighter than most other bulbs which are more typically 600 lumens, and we also really like the 4000k (kelvin) which is the color hue of the light. As we are getting older, the softer white (2700k) is too yellow and dim for us to see well, and the bright daylight (5000k) is too glaring. These 4000k bulbs are just right and so we have been slowing changing to 4000k all over our house. I took pictures so you can see how they are shorter than the glass globes in the fixture. It’s hard to see how bright they are, but they are nice and bright—especially with 5 of them. They come on immediately—no hesitation or flickering. I did not test the dimmable feature of them because I am not using them with a dimmer. Since I needed 5 bulbs, it would have been nice if these came in a smaller sized package. But on the other hand, most A15 (ceiling fan size) bulbs come in packs of 4 and I would have had to buy two of those— it was still less expensive to buy this package of 10, than to buy two packs of 4, so now I have plenty of extras for someplace else in the house. I do really like these bulbs and recommend them. If my review was helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking “helpful.” Thanks. Read more

First, I bought the 4,000 lumen 10 bulb pack to replace chandelier lights 2 months ago. Their small size and brightness were perfect. Each bulb cost $2.50 and has a 5yr warranty. It is really 50 cents per year. What else costs 50 cents and is expected to last more than 5yrs? I loved the pack so much I ordered a 2nd 10 bulb pack. This time I replaced all vanity bulbs in my bathroom. Unfortunately 2 bulbs burnt out in 2 weeks but the US based manufacturer sent replacements in 1 wk. Finally I bought a third pack and replaced all hallway bulbs. The 4k lumen gives off the super white glow but isnt too bright to look at directly. Their small size are excellent replacement for regular and small size bulbs. They worked on both dimmable and non dimmable switches. Read more

I've ordered from Sunco before and always have a good experience with their products. In this case I needed smallish but bright light bulbs with a standard screw-in base to go in a couple of refurbished antique light fixtures. These LED bulbs are also dimmable, which is a great feature in a dining room. I'm often shocked by the cost of LED bulbs, but the pricing for this set of 10 seemed reasonable. Read more

****Update: 3/2019 One bulb failed after a few months of light use. I tried it in another fixture to be sure it was the bulb. I'm lowering my review to 4 stars. This is my second box of these 60w equivalent A15 bulbs because the first box of them exceeded my expectations. I don't write a lot of reviews but I thought I would give my thoughts on these because they are just that good. I don't work for the company nor did I get anything in return for this review. I just think these are outstanding bulbs and I have trialed a bunch. They are bright. They disperse the light well and they are a small form factor (A15 is shorter than standard A19 bulbs). The color temperature may be a bit closer to 3500 K but still remains a "warm" look. Probably the best feature of these bulbs is the absolutely incredible dimming performance. They dim incredibly well for any bulb type, let alone LED with no audible hum. While these would be great bulbs wherever the size of the bulb matters, I'm using these in ceiling fan light fixtures. The rest of my review talks about these bulbs in a ceiling fan light kit application in combination with E12 to E26/E27 Adapters found here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L595FAA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Most ceiling fan light kits use the candelabra base...which is annoying because candelabra LED bulbs are generally more expensive and less bright than their standard base, equivalent wattage bulbs. Since these A15's are shorter than typical (standard) A19 bulbs, even when used with the candelabra to standard base adapters, the bulbs don't stick out of the ceiling fan light kit. Win! I'll also say that these bulbs dim incredibly well. In fact they dim so well, I had to adjust the "low-end trim" on my Lutron Caseta wall dimmer. This means I adjusted the lowest dimming point of the switch to a point higher (more light) than what these bulbs are capable of dimming down to. That is really rare for an LED bulb. Most don't dim down far enough. These just dim down to barely lit which is unusual for LED bulbs. Now one big caveat here that has nothing to do with these bulbs but everything to do with ceiling fan light kits: You many need to remove the wattage limiter if you encounter blinking with this or any LED bulb in a ceiling fan light kit. As I found out, the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT 2005) by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requires that manufacturers incorporate some measure such as a fuse, circuit breaker or current-limiting device to ensure the light kit is not capable of operating with a lamp or lamps totaling more than 190 watts. This resulted in manufacturers putting wattage limiters in the light kits. While this may have made sense when everyone was using energy INefficient incandescent bulbs, they make little sense when using LED bulbs. But here is the ironic part, these wattage limiters actually cause problems with some LED bulbs with a blinking phenomenon. The good news is there is plenty of detailed videos on You Tube on how to remove ceiling fan wattage limiters if you encounter problems with any LED bulb in a ceiling fan light kit. Read more

Bought to replace two 60W incandescent bulbs in our fridge. Wish we had done this much sooner. Didn't realize just how burning hot those 60W bulbs got until I tried to unscrew it with my bare hand just a few seconds after opening the fridge. These Sunco bulbs are described as being 60W equivalent and this is accurate. The bulbs are even brighter than the incandescent 60W bulbs previously in our fridge, and the 4000K color temp provides a clean white light that is clearer than the yellow incandescent but not "clinical" like the higher color temp lights. It's like a ray of sun shining on our food when we open the fridge door. These replacement LED bulbs are a few mm longer than the incandescent A15 bulbs, but unless your clearance is extremely tight there should be no issues with a direct replacement. Read more
