Not the sturdiest of tripods, as the legs are a bit flimsy, but keep reading. It feels like it is more meant to be lightweight as opposed to being made to hold up a huge brick. But I wouldn't be scared to attach a DSLR camera to it with a small telephoto lens in a medium breeze. Tilting the ball 90° to get my phone closer to the ground makes it want to "almost" fall over with my phone attached in a mount, but a simple weight bag on the opposing leg will quickly solve that. Since it seems intentional this is made to be lightweight, I have zero complaints. This will hold up my Galaxy Note 8, plus a light and microphone with ease. The ball swivel locks very securely with just a light tighten of the thumb screw. I am most impressed with this because it feels like a quality ball lock. The build quality is excellent for the price. I am a bit picky when it comes to this, and I have to say I am impressed. It just looks like a well made setup, albeit very lightweight. The legs extend out about 3-1/4" farther, giving you a bit more stable tripod, or added length when using as a selfie stick. This tripod works great either way. My only complaint is I bought this for $25, then noticed the day it arrived I could have gotten it for like $18 ,on sale. But I would buy it again for $25. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for use with my GoPro Hero 9 as I wanted a better option for an external mic mount. This works great and the mic is out of the shot on the GoPro. Additionally, this tripod does not offer a selfie stick option but has extendable legs. This is useful when you want a tripod for a place that does not allow selfie sticks (theme parks). Read more

I really like this little tripod, as it looks great and all of its parts are very nicely finished, it also locks a phone or a small camera rather well. Now one not-so-great thing, its legs have a bit of vertical wiggle and I would not advice to use the legs' extensions, unless necessary or 'operating' in a stable environment. This tripod is a perfect addition to my vlogging set up. Not to big but with extendable legs give you the extra height you need. The removable ball head is great because I use it on my even smaller ulanzi tripod when I need something that will fit in my pocket. This has the usual ulanzi build quality that you come to expect from this company. Updated: After 3 months of use one of the legs broke off. I was trying to set it up and I guess I may have pressed a little to hard and broke one leg. The ball head if fantastic but the legs are alitytle weak. Still will continue to use ulanzi products just not this particular tripod. Read more
