UPDATE - As I suspected it was user error (mine) that kept the device from working. Customer service did finally get back to me, and we figured out what I had wrong. There is a software selection on the camera to allow remote bluetooth control. This is not in their instructions but once enabled everything now works great. Definitely DO recommend purchasing this tripod now. While perusing for a table top tripod, this came up as an option. It has a brother at half the price (same mfr) but without bluetooth, so I thought the extra $$ would make it convenient to snap a picture, or start/stop video. After following the instructions, and SUCCESSFULLY connecting to my camera (Sony ZV-E10), I couldn't get a single button on the handle to do anything at all. Wrote customer service asking for help and got back crickets, so after 3-4 days waiting decided to post so others don't have the same bad experience. This is great to carry around and I feel like I don’t draw too much attention when I am vlogging in public. It does stretch really tall and I’m able to get a lot of good angles because of this. The overall quality of this tripod has been great and I love that it is sizable just for my hand and on the go. videos have shown a significant increased and quality as I don’t have to worry about the stability. It would get a 5 star raiting if the ball head would tighten properly. i will NOT (and would not recommend to), use this with anything larger than your basic phone. I'm using it with the Canon v-10 powershot camera, which is a tiny camera meant for vlogging, and is smaller than an average phone, and about the same weight. Anything larger, the ball head doesn't tighten enough to hold it up, but this smaller camera, and a phone, it holds just fine. I'm afraid it'll start to wear out fast though. Update: I still have and use the Ulanzi MT44 and highly recommend it for lightweight vlogging 'tripod' and selfie stick. It's ok for indoors, table top use, and selfie stick, etc. I'll attach picks of the original one I bought MT16 next to the MT44, both made by Ulanzi so you can see the difference. Also the MT44 has a locking mechanism to lock the shaft in place and legs can be made narrower or wider as needed and it will stay in place. ***** I bought this when I was on vacation and realized after it arrived that it was too short. Also the legs are not sturdy at all. When I try to stand it up and watch videos on my cell phone, the legs slide and only stays upright because of the middle leg/bar that touches the table. I kept it because my sister accidentally threw away the box it came in, otherwise I would have sent it back. I got the 44" Jusmo (branded Ulanzi but being sold as Jusmo) and it's WAY better! Much longer reach and the legs have silicon on it, so if I use it as a tabletop tripod to watch videos, it pretty much stays in place. For the price, this one is not bad, but the reach is just too short. For longer reach, get the MT44 Ulanzi (Jusmo) selfie stick! Read more
