The ULANZI JJ03 Magnetic Tripod is exactly what I was looking for in a compact selfie stick that fits easily into my EDC bag. Lots of utility. I use it as a simple set up for filming my kids in sports. It's quick to go from sports grip to stable tripod mode. The included shutter button works really well via bluetooth and thoughtfully can be moved around when you use the stick in selfie mode. I find that when I watch Netflix in bed I use this to comfortably last through an hour long show. The fact that it uses MagSafe as the adapter makes every use of it really convenient . There are other camera grip-focused specialty accessories that I've considered in the past that are 3-4 time the cost. I'm glad I found this instead. The legs lock in nicely, and the ball head adjustment is smooth and secure. I’ve used it for both my phone and camera, and it holds up great in different angles and setups. Pretty good, very cheap and light by feel. Comfortable in use, works fine, pretty stable when unfolded, holds phone well. May not be suitable for Max models because they’re heavy and tripod is super lightweight. Read more

Awesome in theory but couldn’t hold up my iPhone 16 pro max. When trying to film myself using as a selfie stick, phone just flopped forwards and pointed to the ground. Thankfully it held my phone in place in the magnet. It just didn’t hold the position needed to film anything. It was very compact and I thought it would be a great companion to film with at a concert because it packs so small! I loved attaching my phone snugly to it via MagSafe and my MagSafe ring light to the back. Just wish it reliably held in position for use in selfie stick mode. Read more

this device works well if you are in a tight spot. Being that it’s a tripod, you’re able to set it up in a different spot and use the controller, which is USB rechargeable, to take pictures or activate the camera on your phone. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought a couple tripod/selfie stick combos to find the right one for me, and to me this one is sized perfectly. I wanted something I could throw in my pocket or bag easily and use on the go, and most other selfie stick/tripod combos are very long and too big to carry without a bag (I added some photos of another one I bought for comparison). This one truly fits in the palm of my hand and in my pocket, and makes recording on the go a breeze. The tripod is shorter than other sticks and is more for tabletops so keep that in mind. The extension gives me great distance for recording myself, and for my use case it’s perfect. If you value portability and want a solid selfie stick/tabletop tripod, then you’ll be happy with this one. Read more
