Customers find the air conditioner super portable.
I did not receive any manual or the water drain hose. Just the AC and one end for hooking up a hose. Didn’t even get the long screw needed to put the exhaust piece on the air conditioner. Not like the advertisement. AC seems to work good but what a disappointment with everything else missing. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The weather’s been heating up lately, and since I love spending time outdoors, I decided to try this portable AC. We first tested it during a backyard BBQ—and it kept the patio area refreshingly cool, making the whole evening way more enjoyable. What really impressed me was how easy it is to carry. We took it camping last weekend, and it worked great inside the tent, especially during those hot afternoons. It’s lightweight, super portable, and cools the space quickly. I bought this unit to cool my son’s room for those mid day naps and it does a decent job. My home was built in 1978 so insulation is not as good as new houses, I live in Colorado Springs so we average a dry 86°F ish in the summer, and his room is 12ft x 12ft so a bit bigger than the unit is rated for and with this unit, his room doesn’t go above 75°F very often except for the one or two 95°F+ days we’ve had this year and it only hit 77°F in his room those day. His room does have a south facing wall and is on the top floor so that doesn’t help either but I’m still happy with its performance. It is running non-stop to maintain those temps but it is pretty quiet so that’s not a problem. My main motivation for this unit over others was its power draw. It states 400W but in use I have observed 350W most often. Other units of this BTU class usually draw twice that and perform marginally better but with 2 rooms on a 15A circuit, I wanted lower power draw than what the other units use. Please keep in mind that this use case is not its intended so it didn’t not come with a window insert and you will have to make your own. The included tubes are on the cheeper side and don’t collapse well after being extended. My unit is also in °C and I haven’t found a way to change it to °F. Does the job, can’t complain. Not the strongest unit but definitely cools a small enough space. Used for truck camper RV in the bed room area. Pulls 1000w initial startup then pulls around 300-400w. Happy with unit for the price. Recommend for RV/Van life builds for off grid Read more
Unable to cool the back of a small van, intake outside, exhaust outside, still unable to cool a 6 x 10‘ area down even a degree. Outside temperature 85 after an hour inside temperature 85 parked in the shade. Had to go by 6 inch duct hose because none was included. All around very unimpressed and disappointed will be returning. Read more
